1.5 Gallon Glass Jar With AIRTIGHT Lid, 2 Pack Wide Mouth Mason Jars With Sturdy Handle, Glass Storage Containers With 2 Clear Scales(192 fl Oz/5700ML), Large Glass Jar for Pickling, Canning, Storage: $32.99 as of 02/03/25Nice and heavy glass jars! The handles are a welcome feature. Volume gradations on the side are a nice touch too. The lids seem to seal well despite being made of cheap plastic: when the jars arrived they were quite cold from shipping, and when I loosened the lid there was a definite pressure “whoosh”. Being plastic though I wouldn’t trust them to extremes of pressure.

Huge!
This set of two 1.5 gallon jars was an awesome find! These are the biggest jars that I have and I love the attached handle for easier carrying. I have recently started storing bulk foods and these jars are perfect for that. It’s so much easier to use one of these instead of two smaller jars for storing grains. The jars are thick and feel solid. These are higher quality than expected. I may get another set of these.

Well-Made and Airtight
When they say these are airtight, they’re not kidding. When I opened the lids, they both made a “pffffft” sound as the trapped air released from the inside. They come with a desiccant inside to inhibit mold, which is nice.They’re quite heavy, which is ideal. I hate it when I get glass items that are thin. That’s when I know they’re going to break easily.These will be great in my pantry! They’re going to look super nice, and I’ll easily be able to see the contents.

2 Pack Glass Jars with Lids – $32.99These are really great! They are large, and they have etched measurements on them so it won’t wear off. The lids actually made the ‘swoosh’ sound when I opened them for the first time, so that is a really good seal.I’m super happy with these! Though I would have liked them to cost just a bit less.

Nicely Made!
These jars have a good weight to them, the glass is a good thickness, and there are metal handles to carry them with that are really convenient. The lids are a lightweight plastic which is probably the “cheapest” feature of this item – but honestly that doesn’t bother me at all. They’re a good option for things like storing flour, cereal, or anything you want to make sure critters can’t get into.

Great jars, and sturdy
These are listed as being for pickling, canning, and storage. Well, pickling and canning I’m not too sure about, unless you’re cold canning. But they’re great for storage, and for my use case, which is as a transfer container for fermented wines and meads. I wouldn’t want to try to use one of these as a fermenter, because I don’t know if they’re at all pressure rated, and I’d have to drill the lids to put an airlock grommet in them, but as a transfer/racking container for small batches, it’s a good step. The raised gradations on the side tell you how much product you’ve got, which is useful in planning what size container to rack into for secondary.For the price, I’d say these are great jars, and for my use case, they’re just about perfect.
