Fits Well, Looks Great!
My husband has always been a bit rough on his recliner so I needed a cover to replace the older worn model we already had. This cover is sort of softly formed, but once I tucked it into the chair it looks more fitted. It didn’t take long for an overfilled cup of coffee to land right on the center of the seat. Two paper towels and a thorough wiping and it was gone. Better yet, it holds up in the washer, which has been necessary already. I highly recommend this cover.

Difficult fit !!!
The cover is very nice… color, red, is a beautiful red wine color, feel is very nice…it just doesn’t fit right…not horrible but frustrating because there’s a constant need to readjust…I think it’s probably sewn crooked… I can’t put the middle section in the middle and have the arm pieces correct… one arm piece seems longer than the other, etc…. however, after getting it straight, as best as I can…it looks very nice, until I sit down….I know to expect some movement, but the underneath, that makes it waterproof, also makes it very slippery… so nothing “hugs” to the chair… BUT, I didn’t send it back because it’s the 3rd one I’ve tried & it’s the better of the three…. I would try reupholstering my chair, but can’t find anyone that does that here anymore…. therefore, we will manage !!!.Thank you & be blessed… ð¦ððð»

Good protection, but the cover could be better
I want to like this recliner cover, but various frustrations force me to take away stars. First off, an unsightly black strap holds the cover to the back of the recliner. It might be less obvious on darker chairs, but on my light-colored recliner, it is front and center. It wouldn’t be so bad if it were the same color as the rest of the cover, but it is solid black and it is the first thing I see when I look at the chair. I think it screams “aftermarket cover.”Then there is the part of the cover that lies over the headrest. I am constantly readjusting it because it frequently bunches up and cascades down toward the seat. Once again, it might work better on a different chair, but on my recliner, it usually shifts forward after someone gets up from the chair. It only takes a second to make right again, but it is annoying when you have to constantly rearrange it because there is nothing retaintaining the headrest part except gravity. I have included a photo displaying the headrest part drooping toward the seat.I may try some self-adhesive hook and loop tape to hold the top of the cover to the headrest, but I shouldn’t have to.The quality is reasonably good. I noticed some loose stitches in the armrest pockets, but the bulk of the cover seems to be finished well.I like that the cover is washable. I wish it were simpler to remove for laundering, but it isn’t too tricky. It isn’t something I would want to remove and wash often, however.In all, it offers decent protection to my chair, especially since the recliner is my 70-pound dog’s favorite napping place. I just wish the straps were less obvious and the headrest cover would stay in place.

Great for keeping dog hair off the furniture
I really like this reclining chair cover. The green is a beautiful green celadon-like tone.I live with a 14 year old Shiba Inu and she sheds constantly, as well as likes to dig before circling and laying down. I got tired of yelling at the old gal to cut it out and decided to get the cover.I thought it would be good to use the cover for when I eat & drink while watchig TV. Does well for the most part except it’s not 100% waterproof. Since I sit on it more than my pup, I am ok with that except for the times late at night or early in the morning I fall asleep with a beverage in hand.As for fit, it’s a little oversized wich I like but it isn’t formfitting. In my experience it works better sitting on top of the chair back and cushion. I use a couple of binder clips to tighten up the blanket and make it looks more custom and take up the extra fabric and slack.Overall I recommend the cover with the caveat that it isn’t 100% waterproof. It is good looking and feels good against the skin.
