Works for a pouf
I got this for a 18â x 18â x 16â leather ottoman pouf I ordered off Etsy that didnât come with any structural inside. 10lb didn’t fill it though so I had to come back for seconds.As expected, the foam compacts quite a bit under weight so it was basically impossible to fill the pouf enough to make it sturdy enough to sit on. I had to get a cheap smaller storage box off Amazon to put into the pouf to give it more structure and then used this to fill around.The foam itself is fine. It adds a layer of comfort for my footsies or my rump when either are on top of the pouf. I think this filling would probably be better for use cases where there isnât a ton of weight thatâll be on top. A dog bed or a pillow is probably fine.I donât notice any scent or off-gassing when I unwrapped the package. Maybe Iâm just not very sensitive to that scent, but nothing about it bothered my olfactory senses. The foam also decompressed pretty rapidly once I separated it out a bit. It is a chore to kinda rip it up once it comes out of the vacuum sealed bag though. Itâs packed so tight by the vacuum that no air can get in the solid block to help it separate, which means youâre gonna have to put in some elbow grease to get it apart.Overall Iâm happy with the foam though. Itâs served its purpose and is pretty much exactly what I expected.

I need extra padding for my bed. Smaller shreds than most.
I fill zippered silk pillowcases with shredded foam to help sleep. Hard mattresses are awful, but I couldnât pack them the filled cushions in a suitcase. This filling is much better than the others l have tried. This works, just be careful to contain the contents when stuffing the pillowcases! Incidentally, the zippered pillow cases are available from 12 to 18$ on Amazon. since I am short, a Queen works for me.

Used for dog bed
Size was enough to fill large pillow bed for 100 pound dog. Dog that does not like heat so seems to work know that dog lay in it and enjoying the feeling. Sleeping finally on bed. Dog is able to move it around to get what comfortable position he wants. Used to bags. Holds no smell well worth it for furry friend

Buy from another company!!!
This foam is terrible. It smells horrible. It’s vacuum sealed in plastic and has that foam skin still on it so it clumps together so horribly. I ordered 20lbs of this which arrived in 4 bags that are 5lbs each and I have now spent the last 2 hours picking it apart so it will expand and I’m just now through the first bag. The first brand I bought was dump and go. None of this picking business.UPDATE: the customer service is pretty great but that’s about it. They were kind enough to offer a full refund or a replacement. I opted for the replacement and it was also disappointing. 2 of the bags I got were great. They expanded immediately and separated perfectly. The other 2 however had pieces of “white” foam inside that had several yellow marks on them and again had to be picked apart. I stand by what I said. Buy from someone else.

Takes a LONGGG TIME to fluff out
I have to agree with others that this stuff takes a long, long, long, time before you can actually use it. Opened one bag and two days later still waiting for it to fluff out. The white shreds are like glue it seems. Maybe by day three I can actually use it. Only a minor smell to it, but not strong.

Worked for Bean bag chair
This is cubes of memory foam. It is shipped in a vacuum sealed bag. Once you open the bag the foam expands. I used it to fill in a bean bag chair and it works great.

I bought 20 lbs (4 bags x 5lbs) in order to fill sofa back cushions. Each 5 lbs bag, once opened and allowed to expand, partially filled a very large garbage bag. I used 10 lbs for each of the sofa back cushions. I wrapped some upholstery fleece around so that there was no feeling of ‘nubblies’. Happy with the purchase and seems to have worked well.

Two of the bags had melted together. Very strong chemical smell from all four bags. Debris found inside bags. Left outside for 4 days to aerate. Found at least 40 dead ladybugs that had landed on it. Definitely not suitable for children
