Nice-sized jars. What I really liked was that it brought 2 sets of lids, metal and plastic. I didn’t notice at the time of purchase. It was a surprise. I feel they can have more uses this way. I made some crafts with the kids and the plastic lids were more convenient. However, for cooking or food storage I prefer the sealable metal lid.

I purchased these because I had used up my roomie’s jars with other things. These jars were the perfect size for her to put all her “pot liquor” as she calls it in a safe place to use as a soup base. And, I love that each jar has two types of tops to match it.

Jars are okay. Not as thick as I thought they would be. Lids are definitely flimsy. They do come with two sets of lids a plastic and a metal lid. Nothing was broken when it arrived.

For the price, these are very nice well made glass jars. The glass does seem slightly thicker than normal. They come well protected in a box with individual cubicles for each jar and then each jar in a bubble wrap sleeve. Each jar has a plastic lid and a metal lid. They both seem very capable. The glass is clear and without flaws or coloration. I bought mine to use in the garage as a storage system for loose screws, nails, washers, hangers, etc⦠I will fasten the lids to the bottom of a cabinet that sits above the workbench and the jars can hang down. The loose hardware will be separated into generally common items inside each jar. The contents can be seen without having to root through a whole pile of unrelated items and simply unscrew the selected jar to access the contents. As for being leakproof, I have not tested for that but the gasket on the underside of the lid looks like foam rather than rubber, so I would think it is generally leakproof but maybe not quite as much as a canning jar like Ball. I did not buy them to make candles, but they seem like they would be an excellent choice for that. Overall, for the price, I canât see anyone being disappointed. I do recommend.
