Low quality components
USB outlet is decent. Switch is decent. 12v read out is meh. Cig plug is low quality – mine broke (back blew out so backlit led is no longer functioning. The base plate is decent enough.

Alternative wiring
At first I didn’t like the wiring compared to a similar one I bought. I also didn’t like that the 12v cigarette charger is lit. But then I quickly realized I could wire it differently, so that the USB port was always on, and the rest only turned on with the switch. This way there isn’t constant drain, because the USB port has its own on/off switch built into itself. This was easy to do. As long as it keeps working for a few years, I’m happy.

Fell apart trying to assemble.
Both of the parts that I tried to push wires onto fell apart in the process. The voltage meter also completely fell apart. Return to sender.

Nice little debice
Used this in our off grid cabin. Use a 12v battery for lights. Gives me a status of the charge left in battery

Made correctly, but designed to be panel mounted.
This is pretty well made, it connects easily and securely and the ports have covers to protect them from rain and splashes. The rear connections are not protected from water, and this is designed to be mounted through a panel, where the rear of the panel is not exposed to direct moisture.With that in mind, everything works well, and charges my iphone and ipad, runs additional power for my marine radio and allows me to keep track of the battery voltage on my boat.
