Thin carpet
The carpet is very thin sticky paper is attached not sure if carpet will handle the wear and tear

Nice stair pads, easy to install.
Easy to install, look nice. We’ll see how they wear, but so far I’m very happy with them. I needed a narrow piece for the threshold, and was able to cut it to fit. It looks like it might fray a bit where I cut it, but this is a non-standard use of the product.

Exactly what I needed
I have hard wood floors and my dog kept slipping up and down the stairs. This has really helped her and they stay in place while I vacuum.

Looked good at first
Looked good at first and comfortable.However, even after using an adhesive spray as added to keep the panels down , when I vacuumed they still lifted! :/
