The jars had no chips or cracks. It was packaged really good. The only issue is the lids are cross threading which makes it hard to seal.

Perfect for large amounts of food
We ordered these jars to store large amounts of soup or stew in the refrigerator. The square shape is more efficient than around one, and the big wide openings are easy to use. Perfect!

Just right
I have very short cabinets with non-adjustable shelves and can only fit jars/canisters that are under 8.5″. These fit great and hold a lot. Large o topening. Very satisfied.

If you have big hands, you’ll love it.
I got rid of most of the plastic in my home several years ago, but I bake and cook a LOT, so have been using 3# coffee cans…the problem being not only are they ugly, but after a few months they start degrading (rust), and the lids tear easily. Other than those two glaring flaws, they are perfect for storing large amounts of baking supplies.These glass jars are extremely well made, other than the plastic lids. On the minus side, they are VERY heavy so I can’t stack them, especially with the rather cheap plastic lids and being much smaller on top than bottom.They do look lovely – currently holding two types of sugar. I love that they’re glass. I don’t love that it’s clear glass – meaning it lets in the light, which is bad for storage.I really dislike the lids, not just because they’re plastic, but because of the size. My hands are small so not only do I have to use both hands to lift up and pull out a jar, but it’s a little hard to get the lids to turn – not because they’re made poorly, but because they are that much bigger than my hand.So…good quality item, but still on the hunt for perfect (for me) storage containers.

Glass Pantry Jars
I like the jars because I do not want plastic in my food. I wish they had a wooden top as Ball Canning Jars have. They are square shaped to hold more items in pantry. Of course glass lets you see what is in jar. You can label to show the different flours. Price is good.
