These are lovely trays and so convenient
This is a very old concept but the manufacturer of this foldable tray did a nice job designing this. It is very sturdy and stable, it has a generous-sized surface that will easily accommodate a dinner plate, silverware, etc., with a circular indentation to hold a cup. And there’s also a horizontal groove at the top that lets you place your cell phone there, a pen, etc.The surface has a dark grey sort of “ribbed” pattern that helps to hold whatever you set on it. In other words, it is not a slippery surface. The legs fold out easily and back in, and have rubber at each corner to further stabilize whatever surface it’s placed on.I decided to try it out by eating dinner on the tray while sitting on a chaise lounge and enjoying our fireplace. I liked the fact there is enough space between the bottom of the legs and the tray so that you can pull the whole thing closer to you and have plenty of room for your legs.It was easy to run a wash cloth over it when finished, and it folds up neatly for storage. I think this is a very handy thing to have because you might decide to read after you’ve gone to bed, and can use this tray for that purpose. If you’re lucky enough to have a spouse who will serve you breakfast in bed (!) this would serve nicely too. Or you could use it to work on your laptop computer.Having recently recovered from a virus, I wish I’d had this while I was in bed so much. It would have made it easier to stay in bed more instead of having to get up and go elsewhere in the house to eat.The big bonus: I had forgotten that you get TWO of these trays in the box. His and hers? The price is very reasonable and I highly recommend this product.
