Cute, sturdy, and perfect for a toddler or young kiddo!
I ordered these for my 1 year old who gets restless while I am in the kitchen cooking or cleaning. She is very much a velcro baby and likes to be attached to me frequently. With that said sometimes I just cannot hold her or keep her in a babywearing carrier while I am cooking. My husband and I are also big on getting kiddos in the kitchen early.I bought similar a product for my middle kiddo when he was 4 and my nephew when he turned 3.There was a big difference in this item compared to the previous ones I purchased from another seller. These seem far sturdier and included more items for a better price point!I tested out the items today and oh my gosh- they work so well! My 1 year old can easily hold the wooden cutting knife, the sandwich cutter, the waffle cutter, the shapes cutter, the cutting boards, the knives, and the food picks. The cut proof gloves are great for my sanity honestly. I put my 1 year old in her high chair and let her use some of the items in this kit while I prepared dinner with my 8 year old soon. Kids love it! Easy to use, kid friendly.
I bought this for my nieces (ages 6 and 5) and nephew (age 5) to use to help their mom in the kitchen. From visiting at my house and what I see when I am their house, they love to help their mom cook, but can’t do much as everything is too sharp and not safe for them to use. When they opened this gift, they were super excited that they would be able to help mom cook! They began using it right away and I could see how happy they were. The knives worked well, and the fruit/vegetable cutters cut shapes well. The only drawback is that the cutters didn’t easily release the fruit after being used. We had to take the green top off and push the cut piece out of the cutter. I’m also not sure how well the vegetable peeler will work, but overall, this was a great gift. The kids and their mom are sure to get hours of enjoyment out of this gift.

Exactly as described – only cut food. Good quality and safe.The little has had these pieces in their hand non stop, now cooking class begins. Can these items still hurt a child..?
Answer is yes, peeler can still take off skin from a thumb. Also knives can still cut and be careful with the metal chopper. My daughter loves the set but definitely must use gloves till she gets more experience for over all I think it’s great for kids basics in the kitchen and be a part of the cooking process. Items are light weight.

Amazing set! (But donât let kids stick their fingers through the fruit cutter hole)
We love this knife set! We got it for my 3-year-old. He has used it on apples, cucumbers, carrots, and more. The peeler works well and is easy for him to use. All of the knives also are great and hard to cut yourself with. It does come with cutting gloves, and I would make sure kids use these, especially when cutting harder items as the force could still injure fingers. The set has also been durable and weâve even put the knives and cutting boards (not the other items) Iâm the dishwasher. I love the variety for the price. I would definitely consider this set again.Just as a note for parents, the fruit cutters have a hole in the top of them to help push out the fruit pieces. Make sure to give kids something to use to push the pieces out. The hole is just the right size for little fingers to get stuck.This product should also always be used with adult supervision. It is not a toy set. It is a real knife and kitchen set designed for children.
