Ordered the light weight version based on the discretion’s weight guide.It stops the door from slamming but I have to pull it shut myself as the mechanism seem to be too weak.Pretty disappointed overall. Only plus is the relatively easy installation. Otherwise waste of money…

Easy install, basically a requirement for barn doors
Gotta say, these are basically a requirement for barn doors. A lot of kits have no way to ‘anchor’ the door so it never really stays in one spot on either end of the rail. This solves that AND adds a nice soft close feature. Install was pretty simple, my only concern is the actual soft close mechanism is all plastic, so I worry about the durability of it. For the price though, I can’t really complain.

Be warned, I was expecting metal pieces for the price, but its just plastic. Reluctantly I installed one end to test the mechanism. Seemed extremely stiff and resistant to movement in testing. Fitted all the pieces to one end and was happily surprised how well it worked! Installed the second, and quite happy with it. I bought two for dual sliding doors and installed all four. Need to be aware when it starts to catch, you’re fighting the mechanism if you then try to reverse direction so be aware of this. Overall happy with the system but let down by plastic parts – I hope they last with use!!UPDATE Apr24 – the plastic catch inside the main mechanism snapped off and fell to the floor, and I cant seem to find a way to contact their support. BEWARE

Wow! These are amazing.
Absolutely amazing product. I did not even know soft close was possible for barn doors till we stayed in an Airbnb that had them. These work flawlessly and no more barn doors banging around or potential pinched fingers by kids. I will see instructions are not the easiest to follow but then again itâs pretty simple install and once you figure it out itâs like 10 minutes per door. Input these on for both soft open and close on 4 sets of doors. These are awesome!

Works, but two things to note
The product definitely works, however, there are two things which are a bit annoying -1. There is a noticeable clicking noise when the soft close mechanism activates.2. Opening and closing the door now requires quite a bit more force.

Easy install, professional movement when closing and opening.
It seems to be made of poor quality plastic but it really does work well. They have figured out how to make the most functioning product at the lowest cost. $24.99 is 100% worth it. I installed it in about 5 min and itâs totally changed how I see this barn door in my house

Perfect match for replacement!
Installed quick and easy, just two screws! It was a perfect match for the bad one I had to replace. Now my door opens and closes properly!
