Great Floor Mat
I love my new floor mat, my chair rolls easy on it and it doesn’t slip around. Good quality and just the right thickness. I have had it for about 3 month’s now and I don’t see any scratches, it’s nice and clear.

Heavy. It’s really heavy.
The glass is great! Scratch resistant, heavy enough not to slide around on carpet. No fear of breaking either. Very sturdy. It is a fingerprint magnet when you’re putting it down, but it’s easy to clean. Love the smoky gray color. Clear enough to see the carpet beneath but dark enough not to accidentally trip over. Not too slippery, even in socks. Worth the cost. Packaging is rubbish, but it did its job.

Chair mat that lasts
I finally found a durable, nice looking chair mat that will last for years. I’m replacing all those cheap vinyl mats that sag, crack and fail within months. It stays in place and my chair easily glides over it. This 36 x 46 inch size is perfect – not too small or large.

Glass on the floor!?!?
I bought this because i’d never even heard of it much less seen it! Glass on the floor that won’t break?! That’s right!! It came in super quick & we couldn’t wait to see this!! So we put the new roller blade wheels on the new chair & wow!! Rolls around like your on ice! Everyone thinks the glass will break if they sit in the chair but it suppose to hold up to 1000 pounds!So my 285 pound son finally got in the chair on the glass… And it does not break!! Excellent buy!! Love it!!Would definitely recommend & buy again!

Strong and Sturdy
Tempered glass mat is very sturdy and so far works great over a carpeted office. It is good size to keep chair from rolling off edges, and is nice and clear without blemishes. Only issue I have, is with the archaic packing used in the box. There has to be a better solution than using horrible, thin, styrofoam sheets, that crumble and get everywhere. That stuff creates a mess, that takes forever to clean up, sticks to everything, and is not good for environment. One would think these companies, would have found a better more environmentally friendly packing material, besides this mess.

Flexible and reliable
Donât be misled by the description of this chair mat as âtempered glass.â It is quite flexible but also smooth, and not at all brittle as you would expect from something labeled âglass.â I use it over a deep pile carpet in my office. My previous pad allowed my desk chair to sink into it where over the course of the day the chair casters would become stuck. This mat completely solves that issue. Additionally, it looks great on the floor. The way my office is set upâand canât be changedâthe mat lies across the edge of the carpet and drops about 1/2 inch to hard wood flooring. This leaves a bump in the mat, naturally. I was worried that it would not be flexible enough to survive rolling across that bump, but no worries. It is quite capable of flexing. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this product.

Great Chair Mat
I have tried several chair mats. With carpeting in my office, it is essential that I have a good mat if I want to move at all. My chair creates ruts in the plastic mats, no matter how thick they are. This tempered glass works perfectly and looks great.

Great chair mat for carpet areas
In the past, I have used the hard plastic chair mats on carpet and after a few months, they develop dimples then eventually crack and fail.I was reluctant to try out “glass” for a mat not having any experience with glass. I have a short pile carpet so most mats will work.When I first laid down the mat I treated it very cautiously thinking that it would break any moment.Well here we are a month later after daily use and this mat is really rugged.I really like it. It doesn’t look cheap like the plastic ones do, it’s heavy enough that it doesn’t slide around. The dark smoky color looks really nice.My only regret is that I should have purchased a “larger” mat than the 36×46. When I push away from the desk, sometimes the chairs rolls off the back of the mat which can be annoying.Don’t buy the cheap, vinyl plastic mats. Try this glass mat, you will be pleased as I am. Go larger sized.Highly recommended

I wondered whether a tempered glass chair mat was a good idea. It isn’t. After 3 weeks, the chair mat shattered into thousands of pieces. (see images)The product is smaller than listed on the site. It is one full inch shorter on one side and 1/2 inch shorter on the other side.The seller agreed to a refund but asked me to return the product: a box full of broken glass.
