These are thick and sturdy. We have built shelves EVERYWHERE with these. Best value for the price compared to others on Amazon. Comes with all the screws to install so they were very easy to put up. Also has a very clean look.

YES, holes are countersunk on both sides of shelf support!!
These brackets and included screws are heavy duty and high quality. They are even thicker and stronger than the $15 a piece brackets from Home Depot. I needed some brackets for a narrow shelf and these were the only ones I could find that are advertised as J brackets for 4 inch shelves. The description doesnât specify, but the holes on the piece that attaches to the shelf are countersunk on both sides. So they can be used either above or below the shelf and still look great. Very happy and I love the mini magnetic level that is included.

Solid & Sturdy; Good Hardware
Very strong and sturdy brackets. Was nervous ordering from Amazon that these would be flimsy and low quality, but these brackets are thick and arenât sagging at all under the weight of a lot of large books (mounted to studs). If you are on the fence as to whether these are strong enough, donât be – these brackets are better (and cheaper) than any I could find in big box hardware stores. Also, the screws are very high quality as well. Not impressed with the included plastic anchors though, the three I attempted to use for the one non-stud bracket all broke so I had to use my own.

Great brackets, horrible anchors.
Great value for the brackets. Very sturdy. Make sure to pick up anchors at the hardware store prior to installation. I had to use my own anchors to install the brackets. The ones that came with the package were weak and some went right through the wall.

Incredibly thick brackets. Iâm using them for holding an iron gate to a pillar. Was looking for something thick and sturdy to bolt to the pillar. These were exactly that.

Strong and easy to install
These are great. Very strong. I actually used these 10 inch brackets for a 12 in shelf. I like that they counter sunk both sides of the bracket so the screws fit nice regardless if you mount the leg up or down. Also these are way less expensive thank what homedepot sold and thye are nearly the same thing maybe better as HDs brackets were all scratched up
