This is a really great ceiling fan, it comes in two tones. Let you use black or the wood finish depending what your preference is you just need to flip the blades over before installing them depending on which version you like best this is a great feature and allows this fan to be used in various types of rooms and locations..It comes with a remote control, but can be operated by a wall switch as well. It also has app integration, what I didnât like about the app integration is it connects over Bluetooth and you have to manually connect to it every time you want to use it from the app, not very intuitive and does not connect to any smart home systemsInstallation is pretty easy, but due to the weight of the fan, I would probably recommend a helper, itâs gonna take you a half hour to put it together to start with in another half an hour to remove your old fan and secure it to the junction box where the previous unit it was installed. It comes with all hardware needed to install it, though, which is nice including the wire nuts..All in I think itâs a great fan at a great price would recommend yes. Only lacking in its app features Wi-Fi connected wouldâve been so much nicer.

Good modern-looking fan
This review is different from what you normally see in a ceiling fan review or product description. Here’s why: I purchased two ceiling fans online a few months ago and all of the info on the product page and reviews were about the fan itself. However, after I installed them, the remote was so poorly designed that I now HATE the fan. That is why I’m going into great detail about the remote control.So what’s to know about this 42″ fan? It looks really good of you like a modern look, The blades are reversible (black and medium wood color), it blows air from gentle to cyclone, and has LED panel lighting. Due to its size, this fan is best suited for a small room such as a secondary bedroom.But how you react with the fan is through the remote and/or the app – so that’s what I want to talk about because you’re not likely to find this info anywhere else. First, having an app is a huge plus, especially if you lose the remote, so that you a still have a way to control the fan. Most modern fans, including this one, use a module so wall switches become less of an option to control the fan/light.You’ll notice from the pics that the remote has six fan speeds (as opposed to the usual three), each with its own button. It’s really convenient that you can select the speed you want directly. No need to cycle through six steps. Also, you can reverse the direction of the fan using the remote! No more climbing up a ladder to flip a switch on the fan to change direction. I love this!! The only improvement I see in this remote is the ability to select the light brightness directly as well. Instead, you have to press down or up to dim or brighten the light. This isn’t ideal as there’s a delay between your command and the light reaction so you probably won’t get the desired brightness on the first press. However, it’s not all bad news about the light because there is a separate button for a night light. Great idea. The last noteworthy remote feature is the inclusion of a timer. In my house, ceiling fans in empty rooms are usually left on so it’s a nice convenience to have a timer to mitigate this. Finally, the remote comes with a wall mount. Not all fans do so it’s good to know ahead of time that this one does.Finally, everything I said about the remote goes for the app as well. The box includes QR codes for both downloading the app and to view a installation video. All in all, this is a nice little fan that offers a great value and a rich feature set.

My ceiling fan was about 20 years old, so I wanted a new one and this one was perfect. It even comes with a remote control. It looks a lot better than the old one did. I didn’t like the glass sconces that the other one had because they always got dust all over them. Our ceiling fan was getting loud and wanted to replace it before it failed. We wanted an average size fan for the bedroom that wasn’t flashy. This one looked like it would fit the style we wanted.It arrived fast and was very well packaged. To be honest I thought it was a bit smaller than I expected but once up it performs well.Was easy to put together and only had a few issues with holes not completely lining up but wasn’t too hard to over come. Wiring was light duty but isn’t undersized and pretty much every fixture now a days comes with the same wire.It attached well to the electrical box and seems secure and so far hasn’t had any balance issues.The bonus is all the new features our 25 year old fan didn’t have. No more pulling chains to work the fan. The remote does it all. Speed, direction, light on/off and brightness. Which is really nice as the old one only had one brightness which was harsh at night even with 25 watt bulbs. You can choose the light colour as well as the intensity so can meet any lighting requirements.We haven’t tried the app yet as the remote does everything we need but my kid did point out that if the remote was every lost or broken you could still use it with the app. Smart kid.It looks good, has six speeds, 3 light colour choices, is dimmable, seems well built and works as it should. I can recommend this product.The air movement is just what we wanted and having 6 speeds is a bonus.

Small but Mighty Fan!
I was looking for a ceiling fan that was a reasonable price and matched the style of the other light fixtures in my house. I landed on this one. I’m very glad I purchased it! It looks great in my bedroom. It is for a small room (100 to 225 sq ft) but, the highest setting throws a lot of air. Well worth the money! As far as installation goes, I paid a handyman to install it and he had it up and working in less than an hour. It seemed to go smoothly. The remote does have a ton of features that I need to play with more but so far, it’s a 10/10.
