Excellent value for a really great fan
My husband installed this today in our daughter’s bedroom (after she broke the other one by throwing stuffed animals at it…she’s outgrown that now!). Before even opening the box, this fan is impressive that they fit a 52″ fan into a much smaller box than expected. That is because the blades are two parts. The blades are a high quality plastic that are fastened together in the middle using five screws. This aspect makes the fan very lightweight, and the speed is amazing. The airflow at setting 6 is truly impressive, so this fan really does move air well. The cap to the light is also plastic, but appears like glass from a distance. The rest of the fan is metal, and it is whisper quiet with no noise from the motor at all. The only thing you hear is the wind created by the fan, so it works exactly as desired. There is both a positive and a negative to the installation of the product. On the positive side, it only took my husband about 10 minutes to put together the bulk of the assembly. The negative part also relates to the assembly, as it does specify to hang the base from the ceiling and then to assemble and attach the blades and light fixture. The light fixture was exceptionally tricky trying to attach it while on the ceiling, as it is a very small screw that has to be blindly guided into the right place. That took my husband about 15 minutes to get that right. The advice from my husband is to put the entire fan together before hanging it on the bracket, as it is lightweight even fully-assembled, and the attachment of the blades and light fixture would have been much easier done on the ground and not while on a ladder. This lack of instruction is the only reason one star was deducted from the rating, because it otherwise was very easy to install. Would have only taken a half of a star off for this if it were possible.Wiring for the fan is simple, but note two important things. The first is that it does not support a two-switch setup, so it will only be wired to one switch on the wall. Everything is controlled with the onboard box, so there are only the three wires to connect to the house. Black to black, white to white, and green to the house ground wire (which is bare in our house). There is certainly no need for an electrician to install this fan.The airflow is amazing, so if you are looking for an exceptionally powerful fan, this is definitely it. Even at the lowest setting, it creates quite a breeze. There are three different warmth settings for the light, and these are changed by just toggling the light through the various color options. At this price point, it is a really good value for a ceiling fan.

Love The Minimalist Design & Super Quiet
Absolutely love the design. The rotating blade design definitely stands out and gives a cool, modern vibe to my living room. The remote is super convenient with tons of functions, and the fan runs whisper quiet, which is a huge plus.

Outdoor Fan with Convenient Features, But the Blade Design is a Drawback
I originally purchased this ceiling fan for my outdoor porch. I didn’t realize that the blades are made of plastic, which make them perfect for outdoor use since they are waterproof and I donât have to worry about them being damaged by rain or humidity. However, thereâs one design flaw that I canât overlook. The blades come in two halves that require assembly, and the seam running across the middle of the blade is quite noticeable. It detracts from the overall aesthetic and is not the clean, sleek look I was hoping for. For those particular about appearance, this could be a deal-breaker.The remote control is convenient to have, allowing one to adjust the settings without getting up. The built-in LEDs mean the fan doesn’t require regular bulb replacements, which adds to the fan’s low maintenance. While the convenience and durability of this fan make it a solid choice for outdoor use, the visible seam in the blades is a bit of an eyesore.

Canât speak to performance as havenât decided to have hung
Ok so maybe I missed somewhere that this is an indoor/outdoor fan with plastic blades that come in 2 pieces each & have to be screwed together leaving a very noticeable seam⦠Maybe not a big deal on a back porch or sunroom etc but I ordered this for my living roomI just donât find those seams aesthetically pleasing. It makes it look cheap.. which now that itâs $30 off & only $49, it truly is for a 52 inch remote controlled fanThe light is built in & youâll never have to change a bulb⦠Because you canât that I can find. It boasts 50k light hours & you have 3 color options to choose fromI guess you either donât use the light after 50k hrs or you get a new fan. That seemed kinda wildAnother feature Iâve never seen on a fan controlled by a remote (not app) is the home theft deterrent that will let you set it to come on when youâre not home so others will think you are.Now that is actually a pretty cool featureI just havenât decided to install this yet & I will need to pay someone to do that as I donât ever feel comfortable doing electrical work (guess my insurance adjuster days scared me)I wish I wasnât nervous to do so as looks pretty straightforward but might need someone to help hold & hand (I know I would anyways)I will give this 4 for the current value & the light options/6 speeds/remoteThe point off is just bc I donât love those blades

Love the 3 blade angled design and quietness of this fan!
While fan blades made of plastic aren’t ideal, these are decently designed and should be strong enough to do some serious flying… I mean cooling! It’s a toss up whether more blades is better or less blades are better (not to mention angle, pitch etc), but so far this fan was installed into a bedroom (not outdoors) and it works just fine cooling a 12 x 15 room. Most of the time you don’t need it up on the high speed as 1-3 is good for keeping air circulation going. I am a person that loves air flow in the bedroom (most rooms) as it makes me feel better. The light is bright enough for the entire room, and it was a pretty easy installation from taking down an old fashioned ceiling fan (konked myself on the head with the old one). This looks cool and seems to be cooling well, and whoever’s kid is living in that room (can’t be mine it’s a jungle in there) really loves it. I asked him several times once I made it through the jungle of books, controllers and a viscious lizard named Carl.Seriously for the blade size, look and style, and light on this ceiling fan it is a good P/V (Price to Value ratio) without spending a fortune just for the looks.
