Really Effective Lights
The CLAONER Solar Lights Outdoor [ð ðððð¤/126 LED], Wireless Motion Sensor Lights, IP65 Waterproof Security Lights 3 Modes, 270° Lighting Angle, Ultra-Bright Wall Lights for Deck Patio Fence Garage does everything they claim right here in the title. Our house is part brick and part siding so across the backwe installed them at the bottom of the siding which ends about 7 feet above the brick part of the wall. When walking across the back patio at night the lights light up as you pass going and coming. It makes seeing really easy and convenient to not have to remember to turn on an outside light. The tiny LEDs seemingly last infinitely. We installed a set about 8 years ago and we’re just replacing them mostly because the white plastic of the housing finally yellowed. This time I bought black. I wish I had more places to put them. They’re useful as I said, but also it just a warm pretty effect as they light up.

Very Good little Solar Light.
These little solar lights are a very good purchase. I rated four stars as it seems that some of them have trouble holding a solar charge. I like to keep some of these in the house at night as they have a sensor feature and I love it when getting up and not having to worry about lighting the entire area like a runway when you turn on the light switch. These have three settings for your desired brightness and depending on area, you can choose what application is best for you. I have several on my fence posts in backyard, set on highest setting and the crisp cool white light is what I love. Great for many different uses, small and compact. Enjoy!

As described, I have had these installed for a while and they have not missed a beat. Well worth buying. Easy two-sided tape install. They light up the area well. I installed them down the side of the house where it has been dark as hell and these are perfect.

We have stairs coming up from the street behind us to our patio and it is very dark. We placed the lights in a couple different locations so that they turn on as we walk up the stairs… They are perfect! You have three setting options, and we set ours so that they are off until motion is detected and then they come on with the high beam so we don’t have the lights on when y when they are nothing needed!

Nifty little lights.
These are not huge..but they are effective. Lights turn off after 30 sec min and light a wide area depending how high you mount them. Of the six, two seem short on battery life. They were adequately charged but just didn’t hold it long. I removed them and replaced with others. The batteries cannot be replaced. Don’t care for the “chuck it” type..at the same time I’ve had several last for several seasons..in extreme temperature ranges and weather conditions.. They’re in the open and are still working well..so overall, yeah. I recommend with the caveat there could be some duds.

Too bright?
At the advertised price, I was skeptical about the brightness claims on the product (about the equivalent of a 60W bulb). I was planning on using them above an entryway door on an out building and for lighting stairs on our deck.They worked very well for lightning above the entry door. After a day of charging, they easily maintained a 10% brightness all night switching to 100% brightness for ~20 seconds when motion was detected. I tried others at 30% constant “ON” and they also lasted all night after a full day’s charge. Update: I moved all the lights to the south side of a pole barn where they normally get a full day’s unobstructed sun. On days where it rains most of the day, the lights will only charge enough to last a few hours at 10% brightness. On sunny or even cloudy days, they seem to get enough charge to last all night. This isn’t a complaint, I was just providing the info to set expectations.For the deck, they were too bright at the 30% always on setting. It is very likely this won’t be the case for others, but mounted at ~36″ high you could see the LED when seated and they were distractingly bright. Mounted much lower fixed that problem but then the area illuminated was too small. Note that the ones I’m reviewing were the “bright white” version. A “warm white” may have been much less of an issue.I’ve got the lights mounted about 9 feet up and set to 10% constant on with 100% brightness for 20 seconds when motion is detected. At 10% lighting, they cast enough light to barely see the ground under them. At 100% they provide enough light in a ~25′ area to easily see enough to walk around. The motion detection is exceptional. Consistently detect people walking 25-30 feet away from the light. They also detect cats within about 10 feet of the lightOverall, I’m really impressed with these lights. They work great as entryway lights or building lights if mounted above eye level.

Put one each side of the front door beside the wired outside lights , two along the walkway and two each side of the garage and they light up just nicely without the electric costs.

These are super bright on setting 3. The sensors work great. Makes the garden safer at night and helps us see when taking the puppy out before bedtime. I’ve purchased another pack and will install them further down the garden and will use them as normal solar lights on the other setting so they stay on on a medium light. The sticky pads which come with them secure them well to the conservatory facias. Easy to install on fences with just 1 screw per unit. Screws, wall plugs and adhesive pads supplied. Today’s a dull day so bot sure how much charge they will get today.
