Before installing the hardware, it made a huge difference just holding the door to be used in the space it was going to fill. This will give a quick visual, verifying enough space has been allotted when the door slides across the track. Hardware is well-made and has the appearance of looking much more expensive than it actually is. The installation process can be conducted by one person. The initial measuring takes the longest. My husband and I are truly pleased with our barn door hardware purchase, and we have plans to purchase more to convert all of the doors throughout our home.

Beautiful
This looks and works great. It was easy to put together. It took 2 of us to insure the rail was level and lift the door in to place. It helps to have some basic skills, but inexperienced could do it if you read and study the instructions prior to starting. Basic tools are needed, but it helps to have a long level and power tools.

Easy to Install
The rail assembly was fairly straightforward. It took me about 30 minutes to install by myself. Would probably go a little faster with a second set of hands, but was not difficult for one person to install.My only complaint is the rail comes in 5 sections, which I was not expecting. This is the third barn door I installed in my hone and the rails are not as thick as the 2 previous rail systems. Nonetheless, the barn door works fine and the rail seems to easily support the weight of the door.I would probably buy it again if it remains in the $30-$40 range.

Havenât mounted it yes but rolls smooth and matterials are solid.

Easy to put together
Great for the value, quick shipâ¦ you will need better screws and the black is not sandblasted and is wearing after 3 months

Itâs okay
Cute enough and canât beat the price but more difficult to assemble than others. I wish I would have spent more for a sturdier one. The problem is that the rail bolts together in sections and not very well. When you roll the door the sections sag and twist so door does not stay level. But really for the price itâs not bad.

Poorly made sliding bar
Sliding bar is in numerous pieces ans too hard to connect with it bows in price do no connect together , instructions are not very detailed, the slot where they should connect are not very tight so it moves around ,does not seem very sturdy and measurements do not add up. Only got through the sliding bar and returned and bought a one piece rail amd had up in no time. This took so much time trying to connect the pieces on the bar shoulder have something like a connecter piece that should them together. Poorly made

For the chickens
We are using this hardware in our chicken coop and it’s worked amazingly. When you have limited space a hinge door doesn’t always work but this does! Very happy with this purchase
