1.How to Choose Rail Size?
Single Door Rail Length= 2 x Single Door Panel Width.(A little longer will be better)
2.When do you need a headboard?
If the studs don’t line up with the pre-drilled holes in the rail. Attach a header board into your studs first, and then the rail can attach anywhere into the header board.
3.How much space do I need above the doorway?
A: 6″ minimum clearance you’ll need from the top of your door to the ceiling (or crown molding) for this kit to operate.

Looks good, mechanically sound with proper install
This barn door hardware was pretty easy to put on the door that we had selected. Make sure that you keep the holes even so that it swings well once attached to the rail. With the rail, my biggest issue was that the anchor holes did not always line up with my studs. We had to install a 1âx6â board on the outside of the wall so that we could actually anchor the rail in proper locations along the area where we needed it. Be sure you know how high your door will have to hang before you hang the rail! I missed by 3/8â and had to decide to either cut the bottom of the door off or raise the whole rail. I cut the door. If you set the rail level then youâll be fine. Weâve been using this system for about 4 months now with no issues. Very happy once we got the install right!!

Excellent solution to my problem.
When I needed a new AC, the contractor had to enlarge the hole in my wall to install the new system. I previously has a metal grate to cover the unit. So, I decided on a barn door and I ordered this hardware kit and I also ordered the door from Amazon. It makes the new unit very accessible, when I need to change filter or for other servicing, but looks great when it covers up the AC. Install was quite tricky in trying to get the track level, having to deal with sheet rock walls, and attaching the door precisely, but I’m very happy with the final product.

Needs better instructions and a tool list.
This is a decent kit. However, the instructions are all photos. Sometimes words and explanations are necessary. There is no list of tools needed. First, you will need an 11mm drill bit. This is almost half an inch and not a drill size in your normal household bits and drill kits. Second, the bolts I received had 5 heads that worked with my half inch socket but one was a different odd size. I had to use a cresent wrench on it. 3. Some written explanations like…. the fat end of the spacer goes against the wall, the washer goes between the bolt head and the track, the end spacers don’t have the small extrusion so the ends pull in a little ( I suppose you could add in a few washers here), and the wood dowels are anchors. (Just put up a header board instead.).I figured things out zooming in on some online photos and watching install videos on different kits.

I must say that I was a little bit nervous before installing this thinking that it was going to be complicated. Thankfully I was wrong it was super easy to put together and everything ended up aligned and perfect. Looks great at the same time.

Los herrajes súper recomendables, de calidad. El problema es que en una medida de 304, di por hecho que los herrajes eran para puerta doble y resulta que son para puerta simple, para un hueco de 150, pues no iba a quedar demasiado estético una puerta tan enorme. Asà que los devuelvo y cojo otros para puertas doble especificada y de precio similar.

Ich habe das Set zum Bau unserer Rolltür am Carport genutzt. Zuerst war ich skeptisch, da die Schiene aus vielen kleinen Schienen besteht und ich der Meinung war, dass dies unmöglich stabil sein kann.Aber da wurde ich eines besseren belehrt. Das hält Bombenfest und die Tür, mit massivem Holz gebaut, rollt ganz wunderbar auf der Schiene hin und her ohne das auch nur irgendwas einen instabilen Eindruck macht.Würde ich wieder kaufen. Super!!
