We host family brunch every Sunday, and this table makes it so easy. The steel rails are super smooth; I can extend it from 6 feet to almost 8 feet by myself in seconds. I was worried it might wobble when fully extended, but the pedestal base is rock-solid. The thick top gives it a very substantial, premium look. The chairs are comfortable enough for long dinners, though I wish the assembly instructions for the last two chairs were a bit clearer
