Very good product
I used these to hang some floating shelves that I made from some 12 x 4 wood. They worked well and are well made. The hole placement could be better but I made my own holes and was able to use them how I envisioned. I do recommend them.

Solid bracket
I installed these every couple feet along a drink ledge on a 12 foot long piece of walnut. It turned out really nice and I am happy to not see any brackets under the shelf supporting it. Iâve done a few installations like this now and this one went smoother than any other, despite being the most challenging installation to read on if you want some adviceâ¦A quick note of the one bit of weirdness going on here⦠The holes to mount the bracket to the wall are not aligned with the rod that goes in the shelf so just keep that in mind when youâre choosing your mounting locations. Itâs not any issue if you plan for it, but if you drilled your holes in your shelf before you recognize that, you might end up frustratedA half inch diameter bit with a simple drill block to ensure perpendicularity worked fine for making the holes in the shelf. I used painters, tape going up on the front of the bracket and down on the back of the bracket. The back being the part towards the wall. A few inches of painters, tape sticking up is enough to ultimately support the bracket after you position, the shelf, but weâll get to that in a minute. The second piece of painters, tape stuck on the back of the bracket going down is so that you can insert the bracket into the shelf, rotate it to be in the right position, and then tape the lower piece of tape onto the bottom of the shelf to hold it from rotating. After youâve done that, with all the brackets, get someone to help you position the shelf against the wall, ensuring that itâs level and use the upper tape to stick to the wall to locate the right position, then remove the tape from the bottom of the shelf. After you do that, with all of the brackets, you can gently slide the shelf away from the wall and the brackets will be stuck to the wall in the right locations. Then itâs just a matter of mounting the brackets to the wall and sliding the shelf back over. In my case, my shelf was 12 feet long, making it pretty cumbersome to handle. So I took a board on either end that was cut to length so that the shelf would be at the right height and use that to temporarily support it which helped a lot.Iâm not saying it isnât still tricky but the other times Iâve done this with shorter and lighter shelves, the alignment hasnât been as good and it made it very hard to push onto the wall so I think this is a pretty good approach. Maybe if I do this again, Iâll make a little video because thatâs always clearer than a write up.

Served it’s purpose…but some where not usable
I only needed a few and this had enough to cover my project’s need. I used 2 per floating shelf and had to make sure I measure each pair for diameter and angle because there were slight variations in both. They are pretty sturdy if you can get them on a stud. I used deck screws and they are solid! All an all, they got the job done and the wife is happy with the end result.

Good buy

These work as advertised.
These shelf brackets work as described. No issues with quality. Enabled shelves to be installed with no visible means of support. Shelves were constructed with 1/2 inch gap and they slid right onto the wall brackets with no problems.

Well made! Great value!
Solid product. Not used for shelves but instead worked great for my clamps. Would purchase again and use for floating shelves, if needed.

I didn’t trust the drywall screw assemblies to hold very much weight.
These work well and look good. I took two 52″ x 10.5″ pieces of 3/4″ plywood and glued them together. I attached a 3/4″ x 52″ piece of maple to the front with dowels and glue. I used another 3/4″ x 52″ piece of maple to attached the five shelf supports to. I then attached this assembly to four studs w/#10 x 3″ screws. Used a doweling jig to drill five “straight” 1/2″ x 8 1/4″ deep holes in the plywood shelves. Then just pushed the shelf on to the mounting rods. The last 1/2″ was tapped into place with a 24 oz. rubber hammer. The shelves a solid with little or no movement. I have installed two 24″ shelves since using the same procedure with just two supports per shelf with the same positive results.

Wouldn’t go this route again – see review for details
In theory this product makes sense, however in practice, it is quite challenging to use properly. There are a couple of issues that cause this to be true:1. The manufacturing quality is not super consistent – the angle of the bars is slightly different on every one, meaning some you need to put right side up, and some upside down in order to get them to all align at the midpoint of the shelf you are installing (assuming you have pre-drilled all your holes in the exact center of the shelf). I don’t think this is intended, and it sounds like a dumb idea to put any upside down since the screw holes aren’t setup to support that (but I drilled extra holes as identified in point 2 to address this), however without mixing and matching, there would be no chance that you could get all of these to line up unless you got extremely lucky.2. The spacing of the holes for the screws are such that you cannot get both sided screwed into a stud. This means you must either use a drywall anchor on one side, or drill an additional hole in the metal so that you can get two screws into the stud. I did go through this effort for many of them and it greatly increased the holding strength, but it was quite difficult to do. You need to have the right tools to hold it in place while drilling and a new, sharp metal drilling bit.

Metal bends very easily. Also would not recommend using screws provided as they broke within the wall when drilled into studs. Overall would suggest purchasing another product.

Inconsistent sizing, some of them are warped and the rod doesn’t sit in the plate at the same spot which makes it impossible to hang them at the same height. The rods bend down with just a small amount of pressure, there’s no way they’d hold the advertised weight. The screws included are terrible quality. I’ve wasted a whole afternoon trying to get these to work, and by the time I got around to installing these, I’m now past the return period. Save yourself the hassle and buy something better. These are garbage.

These look amazing, although they are for a winter project, they are exactly what I need and look forward to the easy installation
