It’s very soft and firm. Beautiful Velvet blue. Not made for tall people like my husband and sons 6′ 2 and 6’4″. Perfect for my daughter and I at 5′ 3″. Smaller and color darker than pictures. Easy to assemble. Back rest Cushion on the chaise portion smashed down noticeably compared to rest of the back rest.
