You could even get a thicker mattress if you wanted to with lots of room to spare. I am 5’3” tall the headboard comes about 3 inches below my chin. This bed was definitely one of my favorite purchases. I love it. I’ll say there’s only a couple of things about it that I dislike. I’m still going to give it a five star rating because of it being beautiful and efficient.The drawers. Be prepared to get your toes pinched. Not horribly but every time you go to make your bed, there’s not really much gap to stand at the side and in turn your toes get pinched. The drawers rest on a screw. So you have to lift and pull to get them out and when you go to drop them watch your fingers because again you get a little pinch. If you have a baby sleeping in your room or you’re trying to be quiet, the drawers make some noise because of accidental kicks when you go to get in or get off the bed. It’s not super loud, but I do have young children so that would be something to pay attention to or think about. The drawers also have wheels, which is nice. I just wish there was about 2 inches more of space between the floor and the drawer to save my toes. 😆The bed took my husband and I together like six hours to put together. I bought this bed in a king size and it is beautiful! I love the functional drawers underneath to save space. Also the customer service is amazing. The first footboard I received was damaged in shipping so I contacted them and they sent a new one promptly. The assembly instructions were clear and perfectly doable for two people to assemble together. Overall I am very satisfied.

This bed took about 4 hours to put together. The drawers are complete trash and they are the last thing that you put together. If you need storage and you want to buy this bed for storage don’t do it. The wire drawers are flimsy and are not seamless to the bed. Some of the welds even broke. By the time we realized the drawers were not good, the bed was almost completely built. The bed itself is nice. However, if I realized the drawers were not good BEFORE I built the rest of the bed, I would have returned it.

The bed frame is very solid, sturdy. It is a little complicated to put together because instructions are missing some guidance. It has glue tubes which don’t tell you where to use them. The head board is not one piece instead is three pieces put together, And that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I wish it was one solid peace to make it stronger but after putting it together it looks really nice and solid! Great product for the price.

This bed frame is absolutely beautiful! The quality is great and there were no chips in it whatsoever. It is probably a two person build job, but I was able to successfully do it on my own without any major difficulties. Very happy with this purchase.

There is a very distinct line in the middle of the headboard. It is downplayed in the pictures but it’s unmistakable and the wood grain texture switches directions right at the break line so it’s very noticeable. There are also an ungodly amount of pieces to this structure. More than an ikea bed. It’s not hard but I feel like could be simplified. Much cheaper quality than I was expecting. I don’t anticipate we’ll have this bed frame long.
