I bought these to showcase my enamel pin collection. They work really well and look cool. I haven’t secured them to the wall yet but hoping command strips do the job. It did not come with any adhesive straps, unfortunately.

Works well
I may have gone a little overboard but it looks good. I used small nails to apply them because it’s less damage to repair than adhesive. They go up fast and do the job. And they cut easy with a razor blade if you need to shape them at all. I feel like the price point is a little high but I think I bought more than is necessary.

It’s hard to say how much these help dampen sound but they must help a little! I just like that they aren’t as hideous as so many other options for sound dampening. They install just great with two-way tape – I think I got 3M brand and put 5 little pieces on each square. I used a laser level to hang them. They also cut very easily and cleanly with a ruler and box cutter.

Fun & Functional
Easy enough for my teen to install in his room by himself. We used a single dressmaker pin in the center of each hexagon to hang as suggested in another review. Tiles were really easy to cut in half to wrap around the corner. They add color & decor while also minimizing the noise from the street outside.

Looks nice and dampens sound
Purchased to install behind a wall mounted TV (TV was removed to install the paneling as seen in picture,) they do not stop all sound so soundproof is a bit of a misnomer, I did not have the expectation that they would be truly soundproof but others might be wondering about it. They reduce the sound level that is carrying through the wall and eliminates most of the echo effect that was occurring, the TV can be heard clearly in the area intended now instead of half of the building. They also look nice, are easy to cut with a utility knife and easy to install, even on a textured wall. If I had done the entire wall and not just what was behind the TV, I imagine the sound reduction would have been even better but the configuration of the room also has doors that are often open which we could not block or put paneling on but the reduction was definitely noticeable even so. At this price, I don’t think they get better than this.

Nice
Nice looking and feels like good quality. Mine came nicely packaged and undamaged. They should help absorb and dampen down the sound. Here’s a tip..use Dress Makers pins to install. One pin in the middle of the tile and a bit of skill with a hammer and it will hold nicely with one pin. You only have tiny pin holes that can easily be filled with paint. The tiny pin head doesn’t show either.

Satisfying to install
And they look great. Add a little bit of artistic flair to my little corner office. Used some 3M foam phone tape, they stick just fine to the wall. Really satisfying and easy to install. I’m not sure they do a lot for sound abatement, but it adds soft warmth to the sound in this corner.
