Honestly, for less than $200, I wasn’t expecting much, but this bed far exceeded my expectations. It’s sturdy and actually has decent construction and easy assembly directions. The platform is even pretty good – it replaced an old box spring we were using and the same mattress became exponentially more comfortable just by putting it on this bed instead. The green is a bit darker than the photos… it’s not that bright Kelly Green, it’s more of a Hunter Green and a smidge more blue undertones. The velvet is low-nap and feels on the “cheaper” side, but was as I expected. It is still a very durable fabric, though. I do wish the bed sat a bit higher, but the measurements are as stated. You’ll want to have at least a 10”+ mattress to close the gap by the headboard.

When thinking of ordering a bed frame on Amazon, I wasn’t too sure, but after receiving this in the mail. I was so happy with this purchase. It took a little less than an hour altogether to put together. I did end up using my husband’s drill to speed up the process. The velvet texture is so soft and well-made. It definitely looks high-end. If this has been on your mind but not sure if you wanted to pull the trigger. I say do it!! 🙂 For the price and the quality, you can’t go wrong.
