I was surprised with how will these shelves held up. The mounting brackets were tough and it was easy to put up. We purchased another set after we seen how nice these were for the price.

quality matches cost + instructions unnecessarily tedious
The material is real wood but don’t assume that means quality – it’s still very cheap feeling, and very lightweight. But once installed they are quite stable, and they look great from afar. I got a darker colored one and the stain does come off very easily. One of the shelves had a huge manufacturer sticker on it and it took off the stain when I removed it, and a bit of the stain also came off when I wiped the shelves down with a wet cloth. It’ll be dry dusting from now on, I suppose.Also, they did not fit snugly into the corner – when one side is pushed flush to the wall, it forces the other side to pull away from the wall a little bit. It wasn’t a drastic space, maybe like 1/8th of an inch, but it is still something to note. I am fine with the cheap quality as they are, after all, pretty cheap, so I’d say they are worth exactly as much as they cost. Personally I am happy with the purchase – just thought I’d warn.Secondly – if you want to follow the instructions exactly, you will need two people unless you have inhuman agility. But I also think the instructions were a bit asinine and tedious. They want you to line up the LOOSE shelf and brackets with a leveler to mark where the brackets go on the wall, then put in the wall screws, hang the brackets on them, balance the shelf on the brackets to mark on the SHELF where the brackets will be attached, take the brackets off the wall to screw them into the shelf, then put the combined shelf-bracket unit once again on the wall screws and finally screw those in tight.In hindsight, you can just mark where the brackets should go on the SHELF (not wall), screw the brackets into the shelves, THEN level the shelf on the wall and screw the whole unit into the wall together. We were really baffled why the instructions didn’t have us do that instead of spending extra time (and frustration) trying to juggle all the loose pieces and tools. But I’m not engineer-minded, nor have I ever installed corner shelves before, so maybe there would be some kind of issue with doing it that way that I can’t predict.

These worked perfect for us. They are on the smaller side but can each hold a picture frame and some trinkets.The wood is very light and I see why people call it cheap but it doesnât seem flimsy, just light. No issues here at all.

I ordered these to get all that stuff off my counter. I like how I was able to use that wall and I think it looks good. The quality of the wood and brackets isâ¦well, cheap. But it was 20 bucks. So when I decide these look bad and I want them down, I will make my own!

Okay, I literally just unboxed but I had to add in some first impressions.1. These are REAL WOOD. I’m sorry. You just never see that anymore. I’m stunned. It’s a very light wood, I’ll report back after installation to see if it’s prone to splitting or anything.2. They provide different screws and anchors for your wall type. I have always built and assembled my own furniture, but this may be the first time I’ve seen a company provide for all possibilities. Awesome, impressed, looking forward to installation!Otherwise they look great and are exactly the size as advertised.

I wanted to write a review for this product because I think others deserve a good assessment. Overall, I think this is great value for money. I have tried numerous similar products, some ‘off the shelf’ from well known retailers, and this product is comparatively excellent. Some commentators noted the ‘cheap look and feel and that is lightweight’. Well – that is the type of wood used (I would expect balsam, basswood, or something the alike)! It looks great when put up. And honestly, it was simple to put up. The screws were the right length for every possibility (i.e., if going into drywall, the wood stud, etc.), and there more than enough pieces. Overall though, I think great value for money with this purchase.

These shelves are very cheaply made. The wood is very thin and soft, so much that the screws provided don’t even bite into the wood shelf. For the price, they look okay and hold my son’s Funko pops for display, but I wouldn’t put anything too heavy on them. I guess you get what you pay for.
