Big Disappiontment
We really wanted to like this microwave but it just didn’t perform well. The unit looks great and appears to be well built but that’s about were it ends. The microwave was slow to heat and did so unevenly.We compared its performance to our 7 year old 1000 watt above range Frigidaire and it always under performed. The Amana could not cook potatoes or burritos evenly and it took on average 20% more time to get these foods up to the same temp. When a burrito was heated up in the Amana, temperatures varied by as much as 40 degrees in different areas. The same thing happened with potatoes.NOTE: these microwaves ovens are designed for commercial use. Once you read all the literature you will find out that the warranty is void if used in a non commercial environment. In other words at home. Since it didn’t work correctly and we were using in a non commercial environment, we returned to Amazon and they refunded the purchase price. Thank you Amazon !!I cannot recommend this microwave and that’s a big disappointment given its fabricated in the USA.

Works Okay- it’s a microwave
Update: another one, April 2022So performance is good but not stellar. Price seemed to increase by approximately $70 after contacting/corresponding with seller.Never falters. Often needs extra time to cook through or not leave frozen middle.It has no glass turntable, just like the high end GE. It uses a fan to stir the microwaves to achieve even heating. This is a good thing! Heats okay; nothing remarkable. The fan starts when you open the door, and continues after the READY indicator lights up, and STAYS ON, seemingly forever, after you remove whatever you are heating. Operation of microwave is not exactly a steep learning curve and easily mastered. The only flaw we have found is that the âfit & finishâ of the exterior cabinet is not perfect, the corners are sharp and not square.

I like this microwave
I like this microwave! I spent a lot of time researching to find one that was comparable to my 35 year old Amana Radar Range. It was very important to me that it have a stainless steel interior. I don’t care that It doesn’t have buttons that say defrost etc and I don’t find it terribly noisy like some people have complained about. It works wonderfully and the ability to just push one button for either 10 sec., 20 sec, up to 5 min is very convenient. You can also program it to any time you want or punch in the time manually if you like. It has the larger interior I wanted. Heats things quickly and looks great on my counter. Just what I was looking for!

No Turntable!
Not sure why every run-of-the-mill microwave now has a turn table but it’s just not necessary.This commercial unit is reasonably priced, reasonably sized and performs as well as expected.NOTE that the fan runs every time you open the door… not sure why this is necessary when you’re just taking a cup of coffee OUT and not doing any cooking but it does… on the upside it can be re-programmed to run only 15 seconds instead of the default 1 minute which makes it more bearable.Every button is configurable, described in the manual, which means you can create up to 10 different heating preferences if you don’t like the defaults, but the defaults are pretty intuitive to start with.For the money… hard to beat!!!

Reopening the return window
We do not like the microwave and want to return it but looks like we missed the return window by one day. Why was it such a short return time? Is there any way it could be extruded so that we might get it sent back, please? We do not like the way it gets things hot. Also it is too noisy. It just doesnât fit our needs. Thank you in advance for considering our request!

Top quality commercial microwave oven
This is FAR better than any of the highly-rated microwave ovens for residential use. It is incredibly easy to clean, as it has no turntable and the interior is all smooth stainless steel except for the bottom panel of the interior which is smooth plastic. No nooks and crannies. The oven door has a sturdy handle, not a push mechanism that will deteriorate and break with extended use. The exterior dimensions are comparable to a medium-sized Panasonic microwave, but the interior cavity is HUGE, similar to what you would find on a large or full-size residential microwave oven. Programming is simple and versatile, with the ability to cook at full power, 70%, 50% or 20%. There also is a countdown timer, useful for items that are supposed to be left standing for a period of time after being microwaved. This is a commercial oven, so it has a fan that operates during each cooking cycle and remains on afterwards for a short time. You can program the unit so that the fan will shut off after 15 seconds. The oven is built in the USA, not China. It seems very sturdy, and as it is engineered for frequent use in a commercial kitchen I expect it will last a long time. The manufacturer technically does not warrant the oven for residential use, but this is because their service personnel are not insured to enter private residences. I was told that they have repair facilities in most major cities, and if you have a problem with the oven you can bring it to a repair facility and they will repair it. The quality of fit and finish on the exterior of the oven is more than acceptable for a commercial unit, not quite up to ultra-high-end residential standards if one were to examine it closely, but the oven looks great on my kitchen counter.
