I’ve been sleeping on the AmazonBasics Foldable Platform Bed Frame – Tool-Free Assembly – Under-Bed Storage -Twin XL for a few months now and am pretty sure that many of the reviews posted are for similar products. Mine has no “design flaw” as pictured in one review- all support rods are pressed flat and no snag areas were found. The unit is solid- I noted that the center legs were slightly elevated when first opened, but leveled up once the mattress was placed on it- check the hinge areas to make sure no packing material became lodged in the hinge area. I have absolutely no “squeek” with my unit. Arrived quickly- ordered Friday arrived AM Sunday- well packed and easy set up (unpack it and unfold it, and you’re ready to go). I really only planned to sleep on it for a few nights to make sure it was solid, but found it so comfortable (using a 6″ memory foam mattress I also obtained from Amazon), that I just haven’t bothered to move back to my air bed. The only thing I’d do different is get an 8″ mattress instead of the 6″

Good purchase
Iâm very impressed with this purchase. Very sturdy, very quiet, very easy to set up and take down. Iâm using this as a guest bed with a tri-fold mattress. Both this bed and the mattress are twin-XL. Most of the time this bed will remain in storage. The legs do seem to get in the way when walking around it to add sheets or just sitting on the side of the bed to get up. Even a light bump against these metal legs can make you cry. To resolve this I bought a 72â long pipe wrap, 3/4â round. Cut it into six even pieces and slip it on to the legs when in use, and store it inside the fold when put away. Problem solved.

Good bed
It arrived undamaged, and was not over-packaged, but just right. Easy to unbox, easy to get it set up. I had help but I could see it was not difficult for the people who did it. It holds my mattress very nicely, and it does not shift around under me when I move in the night, It is tall enough to provide some storage underneath. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Assembly: This particular bed frame is the best of it’s kind. I’ve ordered the Zinus brand before, in both Queen and Twin. Amazon’s frame was in fact easier to assemble as there were no tightening of screws required. Just open it up, pop the legs out, and done. A simple depression of to buttons folds the legs, and then the bed can be folded in half.Sturdiness: the Zinus frame broke within a month from a teen sitting heavily on it. I would blame the design flaw on where the tiny support bars had to be screwed in to keep the legs from folding. The tiny metal hooks bent and the bed would not stay upright. This frame however lasted a bit longer under my son’s abuse. LOL. He did the same to this one and it split a support bar in half. I know that wood would’ve been far worse, so this bed frame earned 4 stars for lasting as long as it did.Storage Capacity: It’s very good. You have to get the right size storage containers to fit underneath, but it gives far more room for the taller variety than the average bed. And I’ve just now considered that plastic storage could be used as extra support for roudy children. ðI don’t know if there is a tougher or easier to assemble bed frame out there, but if there is, I haven’t found it.

Purchased this about six months ago for a senior who can’t always get up stairs for bedtime. It’s a little too low for them so maybe should have gotten a taller version but a good, sturdy product. Very easy to assemble and I’ve had no issues with it.

This is the bed frame to get!!
This bed frame is very well built and very simple to setup/takedown as needed.It also includes the ability to store items below the bed (which is a plus if you are a typical American who has way too much stuff).One of the best selling features of this for me was the ease of setup (doesn’t have anything needed to screw in or mess with). It may be a little counter intuitive when first unfolding the legs, but once you press in both sides it allows the legs to easily go up and down. I’ve owned this item since July 2019 and plan on having and using it for years to come. Plus add that this is priced very well, and it is a no-brainer (especially if you move a lot, or need the ability to set it up when you have company and otherwise just store it elsewhere).

La base es muy ligera y se ve resistente, pero sobre todo es súper fácil de instalar. Ya viene armada, sólo necesitas sacarla, desdoblarla y ¡eso es todo! El tamaño fue adecuado para el colchón y la posición de los tubos no se ve que vaya a lastimar el colchón. Por la relación calidad-precio no se puede pedir nada más. ¡100% recomendado!

La base está perfecta. Puedo meter muchas cosas debajo de la cama o limpiar debajo con bastante comodidad. Es muy resistente y fácil de manejar. El problems es que es más larga que mi colchón y por el área de mi recámara me he golpeado con la parte sobrante muchas veces.
