I was looking for a quality knit blanket when I came across this one and immediately loved the way it looked. This blanket is a chenille knit and it is SO SOFT. I got the ivory color and it looks exactly like the photo. I washed and dried it on a delicate cycle and it came out of the wash just fine. I like that there is a little bit of weight to the material. The weaving also makes the blanket look like it’s made of yarn instead of chenille, which I like. When it arrived I loved it so much that I wanted to go back online and order more colors! This is my first chenille blanket so I hope it holds up because it is beautiful!

I got this to cover myself while sitting in a recliner and watching TV on cold Winter nights. I am glad I got this. I got the 50 x 60 inch version which is JUST big enough to cover myself (I am 5’9″). But you may want to get the 60 x 80 inch version if you want to make sure you will be in a cocoon of warmth. This blanket is soft and smooth. It keeps me warm but not being roasted. I really, really like it.
