Light up my night, just right. I read a lot of mixed reviews on these, and was a little concerned about how well they would work. I am glad to say that these are perfect for me! They cast just the right amount of light in a pitch dark room, to be able to see where you're going. It's a soft enough light that your eyes won't be blinded, and bright enough that you can see and avoid knee bashing, toe stubbing obstacles in the night, without having to turn on lights. I have installed them in my high traffic areas, making getting around the house at stupid:o'clock in the morning, a breeze. They're easy on the eyes. I can even go down to the basement at night, to empty the dehumidifier, which is almost 6 feet away from where my light is plugged in, without having to turn on any other lights, which over time, will save me some on the electric bill.I'd suggest that if these are to be used as a night light for a bedroom, and you don't much care for a soft light, illuminating the entire room, that you place electrical tape over part of the illuminated lens, to suit your preferences. Electrical tape comes in all sorts of colors these days, including white, so if you're OCD, then get white tape & a razor, and carefully, neatly & partially cover the lens, to cut down on the light emission enough to suit your needs. Nobody will know it but you, and it will look like it was manufactured that way. If you need something more than what these provide, I'd suggest sticking with a standard, bright white night light. I often find those to be offensively bright though, personally. <--- This is a suggestion for some of the complaints I have read. People need to also understand, that more or less square footage you have in a home, will effect your needs, based on the size of the room you use these in. People who's eyes are sensitive to light, or that are color blind, may not get the same results as me. I'm sure there's other factors to keep in mind when purchasing for your needs, but as for quality of the product, I think these are made well, and I expect that they're a lifetime purchase, and not something I'll ever have to toss in a landfill, due to poor construction/design/manufacturing.

Fantastic little lights!
When it is dark outside, the hall that serves our bedrooms is wicked dark. We had a clear nightlight, but found we werenât sleeping as well because it was crazy bright and the cat kept tripping multiple times a night.These little guys put off just enough blue light for us to navigate by, but not enough to interfere with our sleep.HOORAY!

Still going strong
This is a 12 year review. All of these I bought in 2012 are still going strong – no issues ever!. Provides enough light to find your way down stairs, into the bathroom. Honestly, you get more than you paid for.

Don’t expect great vision with this one…
Our faithful old sensor night light in the bathroom finally gave up the ghost.It was time to look for another night light. Our cats both eat in the bathroom as well (long story short -tiny place, tiled floors make the best place to feed messy eaters), and want light before they willgo in and eat (even though they should have great night vision!).I bought this one, for the main feature of energy usage and not getting hot. (Our old light got very hotthere at the end.) Since I didn’t want one I had to babysit, I thought this would be great.The value of the package here (at least when I bought it) was really good. You get TWO nightlights in the package.Both of mine were blue. they worked right out of the package, so no problems with that.HOWEVER – I need more light than this little thing puts out. It gives everything a blue hue, of course, which isfine, except it isn’t bright enough to tell if you are missing the toilet seat, getting ready to step on something(like a cat), etc etc. I need something brighter. Apparently, the cats also want a brighter light, because I gethead-butted at weird hours to go flip on the light for them so they can eat! Wish I could train them to turn the lightsoff and on themselves.I could see these being just great in a hallway where you just need more of a guiding light.But for actual vision, this isn’t the one. Nice product, fair pricing, looks very nice and the color is good, butthe actual light output just isn’t enough to work for us.

Great night light
Product is well made, has a small footprint so it doesnât take up a lot of space. The light illuminates just enough to to see in the dark without disturbing anyoneâs sleep. Purchased 2 in a pack at a great price. I travel often and this product can be used at any hotel or motel. I put one in my motorhome and it works great. You can put one in the bathroom to give you enough light without having to turn on an overhead bright light.

Brighter than expected
These are much brighter than expected. I ended up returning because my two daughters share a room, one doesnt want any nightlight and one wants a blue one. I plugged this in beside a dresser thinking it would help hide the light, but the glow is too strong. So if that is what you are looking for, perfect for you! If you want more of a subtle light, not so much.
