Beautiful, a bit expensive although.
I got this for theAmerican Standard 0282.008.020 Retrospect sink. Originally, I had planned to use that sink without theconsole, but this is not possible (actually, this should be clearly indicated there). Yes, it is quite an investmentbut the chrome looks good. I did the assembly without the instructions as they are a bit complicated to read. Butif one looks at the picture and just puts things where they belong, it is no problem (I needed one hour). The Sink fits perfectly on itand the stand is so stable that the sink almost does not need to be attached. The sink is a bit heavy (which makesit look nice and expensive) but there is no way that the sink can be attached to a wall without the danger of breaking off. Now, it is enough tohave the sink attached with wick seal. This together with a good PTrap (I got the Kohler K 9000 which is high quality and strong),the sink is now well attached.

A++ Product
I’m really pleased with this stand. I originally bought the pedestal, but my plumber convinced me that it was not a good idea to install it in my condo because of the lack of a supporting wall. The stand is heavy-duty, quality construction. It’s easy to put together, which I did myself very quickly. I have a tiny bathroom, and getting rid of the solid vanity makes a real difference. I’ve added a modern fixture to the sink, so overall it has a contemporary appearance.

Loving it!
I bought the retrospect set for a lower level bathroom a couple years before I sold my house. (The sink portion is much less expensive at Lowe’s.) I loved it so much that I knew I wanted it in my condo remodel. I won’t repeat what can be read in other reviews, but I totally love it! The fresh, clean look, the height, the openness – the fact that mold won’t be found years down the road like both wood vanities had behind them when removed. I was present in the old house when a friend assembled the frame and noticed that he put the bottom piece in upside down which would prevent the shelf from sitting correctly in the notches. Easily fixed before sink placed. I was NOT present when my brother assembled it in the condo. I noticed once the sink was attached that he had done the same thing. I ended up using a hot glue gun (vs silicone calk) to stabilize the glass shelf. I was looking for a more retro look, and this fits that. Spendy, but oh, so worth it.

big quality, compact footprint
Great alternative to stodgy porcelain pedestals. This stand looks real nice and is very functional for its size given that you can hang three towels from each of its upper bars in addition to storing things on its lower glass shelf. A stylish piece that will make even small bathrooms seem quite larger due to its compact footprint.

Looks great otherwise and feels solid
Found this to be much cheaper on Amazon then anywhere else. That being said, there is an issue with it and I’m wondering if it’s related to the cheaper price.The top brace and the bottom brace are not exactly the same dimensions. This causes the bottom portion of the leg to angle inward (as the bottom brace is smaller). It was very noticeable at first, but became less apparent when I loosened the legs and tightened them each a little at a time.At this point I don’t think it’s drastic enough to warrant returning it. Looks great otherwise and feels solid.

This is a great quality sink base to pair with the retrospect sink
This is a great quality sink base to pair with the retrospect sink. Used it in a small powder room. It’s great because it has 4 legs and if you didn’t have a re-enforced wall you can still make this work. It’s also less deep than most, so will fit in a small powder room. Also note, it’s quite heavy ( a LOT heavier than it looks). Packed extremely well too.

Retrospect leg console
This set was heavier than I expected! Happy. This was just a tad tricky to set up to level everything. When the sink was placed on it – it looks very retro ; 0 and I can put a towel /facecloth on the bars and a small box on the bottom for essentials. Most sink legs don’t have either the bars or lower shelf so I love the look.
