Exceeded my expectations
I want to start by saying that I am picky about my knives and own a single knife that costs as much as this entire set, so my expectations are high. I ordered this set because I was moving and my stuff was delayed so I needed knives to hold me over. I was fully expecting to strongly dislike them, mostly because how can any decent knife have a random pattern on it? Well, I’m happy to say I was very wrong. Yes, no one will take you seriously if they see you cutting with these knives, but they are actually quite impressive. They are as sharp as the expensive knives and the knife block even includes a built-in sharpener! I don’t get have a garlic press at my new place and the chef’s knife chopped it like a dream. The knives are well-balanced and every knife in this set is a useful and usable type â so many sets have random knives that you’ll never use!The only complaint I have is that because of the steep angle of the knife block, I need to pull the block out from under my cabinet in order to access the four long knives in the back (and my upper cabinets are a standard height above the countertop â I’ve never had this issue with any other knife block).Aside from that, this is an excellent, high-quality knife set at an amazing price!

I ordered the Astercook Knife Set to replace my old kitchen knife set, which had begun to rust from being washed in the dishwasher. My old wooden block has seen better days.This new set includes 15 kitchen knives, and I particularly appreciate that the storage block comes with a built-in sharpener. While the manufacturer advertises that the knives are made from high carbon German stainless steel, I cannot personally verify this. However, I can say that all the knives are very sharp.The handles are made of polypropylene, which ensures they wonât rust from dishwasher use. Although the design isnât my favorite, overall, this set offers very good value for the price. Iâll be curious to see how long the entire set lasts.

High Quality & Aesthetically Pleasing
I love the unique, pretty pattern that is on the blades of these knives. It truly adds a unique charm to this knife set, which looks so chic and then just so modern in such an aesthetically pleasing way. The scissors are amazing, the blades are sharp, and even if they aren’t it has a built in sharpener to take care of it. I love the ease of storage, the way it looks, and the weight of them as well. They feel super high quality and look it as well. I really love this set and think it makes a great conversation piece if nothing else.
