Wonderful product!!
These stair treads have been a lifesaver for our family. Our dog couldnât walk down the stairs because the composite decking is so hot in summer months. It burns her feet, as well as ours. These treads are the best quality. Heavy and the rubberized backing holds them firmly in place. We recently found our dog has developed cataracts which compromises her depth perception and vision. These treads really help her confidence going up and down the steep stairs. They are attractive looking too. Just need to spray them off with the hose and they look like new. I just ordered another set for the bottom steps. This was a wonderful investment for our family. They are worth every penny of the price.

Color fades
Being in the texas sun, these will fade. However I purchased these to protect my puppies paws. The color was perfect that match the painted steps when first arrived but after a little while they faded. Doesn’t affect the quality durability or softness. They are very heavy and probably need to be tacked down so they don’t move. I think that could be a little bit cheaper.

Awesome for wooden steps!
These are not tacky on the back, but even with my two dogs running full speed out the door and down the steps they stay in place. On EXTREME windy days they may shift a tiny bit, but nothing major. Comfy on bare feet too! I may consider tacking them down on each end, but so far they are great as is.

The stair treads are really pretty!
It says that the treads are non-slip but they moved on our stairs. I wish there was adhesive or something to hold them down. My husband ended up using brad nails to make them non-slip so now we have holes in our brand new stairs. Other than that they are really put together well, they are sturdy and very pretty! Overall we like them and they look great on our stairs.

I’m on the fence with these.
They are super pretty and I needed the traction for my concrete steps to help my senior dog maneuver his way outside. Two things that bother me. Because the bottom is textured due to the design, the tape does not really stick to it at all. It sticks to the concrete but not to this stair rug. Second, it stays wet after it rains for quite a while. The rain pools inside the rug where I am constantly using a broom to dislodge any accumulated water. Let’s see what happens during the winter time when the water freezesâ¦

I got the 6-pack to help my elderly dog, a 55-pound standard poodle, get down and up the back steps to the yard. His vision is failing and he was hesitant to take the steps, then he would rush down, which would make his feet slide. It only took a day for him to recognize that these treads were a safe way to navigate the steps. Now, he noses around to make sure the treads are in front of him, and takes them confidently. I haven’t needed to use adhesive or any other method to hold them in place. I wish I had found them sooner!

Treads seem well built and suitable for all seasons, particularly winters. Used large head screws to fasten to the stairs as without, they would move around and pose a potential slip hazard. Product looks good

Got these for my wood indoor stairs, to help my dog use the stairs. I wanted a rubber backing with no tape as these will be temporary. 3 days in and they work well. Fit my 35 by 11.5 steps perfectly and colour is close to the dark wood of the steps. Very little movement of the treads during use.
