It smelled really strongly when I opened it, but they warn you about that on the packaging. I just left it to air out for a day and the smell went away entirely. Easy to cut to size, and works great under my rugs! Doesn’t slip at all!

This backing is to attach to bathroom rug set! It prevents my rugs from slipping around getting in and out of shower! It works very well!

As a rug pad, it operates great. I laid a runner across this pad and it does not move – even when my dog runs across. The pad is easy to cut with everyday scissors, but you will need to cut it as it ran slightly bigger than the size ordered
