Edit: I had to pop back in because I got curious whether this was flammable, so I trimmed an end off one of the attached mesh ties and took it outside. I’m happy to tell you that This Canopy Is NOT Flammable. I had a direct flame on it and it did Not catch fire, and did Not melt. All it did was shrink to about 1/10 it’s size without even sticking to anything. Happy to know it, happy to share it.Back to original review:This is beautiful. It’s frilly, but that darker, brownish thread used on the edge of one of the tiers of fringe – which I wasn’t sure about looking at the photos – lends to it, in person, an integrity or a depth that I think it might have otherwise lacked.The ad says it’s gray, but it’s more blue than gray. Although, it does go with my gray, so…? The ribbons that come with it are light blue, and narrower than I thought they would be, but that’s okay with me, because it’s for me. I think I’d get some huge, wide, velvet ribbon to make bows if I were installing this for a little kid. Just. cuz. I. could. And, I prefer to create wide-eyed wonder and joy on the face of a child to the maximum possible extreme, whenever I get anywhere close.However, I got this one for me. And I love it. I used a canopy frame and put a heavier drapery fabric at the corners for a more grown-up look. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the ruffled tiers at my age, but truthfully, I’m really enjoying the ruffles, too.If I had gotten this as a child, I would have totally lost my mind with happiness.I need a granddaughter now so I can get another one of these in pink and another frame to set up (with additional giant velvet bows) for her.This is just plain gorgeous. It’s everything I could want a bed canopy to be.

This ones definately a keeper. Im a little on the fence still on all the frilly, haha but thats just me, dont reflect any on the review. But know, its definately frilly haha. Material is excellent quality, not a crunchy fish net type feel like most of these shear ones tend to be. Excellent seamwork, semi thick for the material type, it flows nicely and breaths. Tying all the ties was a bit tedious since im short, but its super stable with all of them. Overall excellent for the price point. I would absolutley recommend!!

Childhood Dream Achieved
I, like many other women, dreamt of having this sort of princess bed set up from childhood. I’m super happy that this has finally become a reality. The frills! The ruffles! The bows! The pink! ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!! The quality of the craftsmanship is great. I didn’t notice any weird smells from the fabric. It was easy to put up. The drapes are more sheer, so they don’t block a lot of light.I got the canopy in queen size and it suits my queen size bed.
