Fantastic stair addition
I wanted to get these since I have aging dogs and one of them was starting to have trouble on the stairs. I hunted around and read many reviews and decided on these and Iâm really glad I did. They were VERY easy to install just pull the backing paper off and press down. They are NOT glue just very grippy rubber. Did I mention very grippy? ð The colour goes great with my hardwood floors and they really stay put, I have yet to have them move. Iâve even vacuumed over them. They REALLY help the dogs go up and down the stairs with ease, even the old guy who was really having troubles, he doesnât need my assistance anymore.My only regret was I just wish I wouldâve done it sooner. These are a really nice addition to my stairs!

Beautiful, thick, soft
Items are as pictured. They go on easily and are non-slip, so no sliding around while going up and down the stairs.They also come off easily if you need to readjust them, which is beneficial in most cases. Our toddler noticed that we replaced old ones with these, so he enjoyed taking these new ones off to investigate. But we put them right back with no problem at all.

Awesome product!
These stair treads are truly non-slip. You must clean your steps thoroughly and let them dry. After you take the backing off, use a blow dryer on the hottest setting to heat up the back of the tread, then I used an envelope for my spacing on the left side. After you set the tread, hit it with the high heat blow dryer again from the top a few inches away, and step all the way across it several times. I bought these to perk up my old steps, dampen the noise, and make going up and down wooden steps safer for myself and my small dogs. They really work if you put them on correctly. I put the two bottom treads on first for over a month to make sure they worked , and I’ve been so pleased that I am spending today putting the rest of them on. Highly recommended!

They don’t slip
These may not be particularly attractive, but damn, they don’t slip on my wooden stairs. I have an elderly dog whose back legs occasionally give out, and the steps were too slick for him. I slapped these on every other step and voila! He has traction again. I put them down once and haven’t had to reposition them – the backing is tacky enough to keep them in place through lots of human and pet traffic.

Very well made. Looks nice.
Bought these for my stairs. The carpet has a stay put backing that doesn’t move. Easy to take up for cleaning floors underneath.

They really do stay in place and make the steps quieter and less slippery. They are easy to vacuum and the color difference makes it easier to navigate the steps in low light.

Great! And easy to reposition
Easy to remove the plastic on the back and apply. Easily repositionable, easy to cut if you need to (like I did for a partial spiral in the middle of the staircase). Feels super soft to the touch. On some pieces, the edge has the lighter carpet visible if you’re looking up at the stairs – solution is to rotate the carpet around. Cats and humans of the house appreciate having more traction on slippery wooden steps – and I loved not having to entirely cover the wood to provide that. Silicone sticks pretty well to the wood without damaging anything. Some of the corners stick up a little (few millimeters) but since it’s the edge of the carpet square, it doesn’t represent a trip hazard.

Ease of installation, excellent adhesion
Two flights of stairs later and the install was complete. We are both close to 80, and working with the stair treads was a cinch, and what a difference they made. I had a total knee replacement 2 months ago, and the wooden steps have been tough on me, now with the new treads I have a little padding, and doing the stairs is certainly easier. The price was very nice, we are on a fixed income, and every dollar counts.
