Has a very soft feeling
Unlike most stair treads I have seen or used, these have a more soft feel to them. They are similar to a foam shoe insert feel and less of just a flat carpet. This is not a bad thing on stairs and I do find it unique, it will take some time to see if the durability lasts with that type of a material. The length was perfect for my stair way. They have a backing to peel off and stick them down, so far there has not been any issues. I always found it difficult to find treads or at least ones that can both stick and have a more basic look to them. I tend to see very utilitarian hard treads or more ornate carpet treads. These have a more basic and timeless plain look which I appreciate. On a very high traffic area I am not certain they would be durable enough, however on a second floor stairway which only is used a few times a day, I donât think it will be much of an issue.

Beautiful, stylish, thin
These are really beautiful and look very sleek on the stairs. They are thin as to not cause tripping. It’s made out of the same type material of the carpet in your car, but thin and not as plush. The design adds a layer of sophistication to my stairs I didn’t have before. Really enjoy them

Nice looking but thin
These treads are inexpensive, and the quality is commensurate with the price. I was hoping to put them on my main stairs, but like most other reviewers I put them on the basement stairs. Dont get me wrong, they look nice, but more industrial than residential.The stair treads are easy to install and provide slip resistance. But they are thin and provide minimal cushion, another reason why I chose the basement stairs.

Made of great material. They fit perfectly on my wooden steps and stay in place really well. I really appreciate the non-slip, especially with pets running around.They were super easy to lay down, and they instantly made the stairs feel safer and more comfortable to walk on. Plus, they look sleek and donât ruin the look of the wood. My dog loves them tooâno more slipping for him!

Working well so far on my basement stairs
For years, I’ve had regular, unfinished wooden stairs down to my basement. I have never slipped and fallen, but I’ve always worried about it because they are smooth and a bit slick.These treads fit just right, and they make it warm, quiet, and comfortable to go up and down the stairs. I feel like my feet and toes get a little grip now rather than just waiting to slip out from under me. They look good and feel good, and my wife is happy with them too.There’s one point of confusion, which is that the ad says there’s no need for double sided tape, and yet they provide double sided tape in the box. So, I went ahead and used it just as a precaution, but I’m not sure it’s necessary.

Weak adhesion, low class look, but they work
We used these treads on our newly refinished stairs. They are thin and easy to install, all you have to do is peel off a thin plastic sheet from the back of each tread. They add more traction to the stairs which can feel a bit slippery after refinishing, and it is helpful for our toddler who is still learning to go up and down the stairs safely.We didn’t end up loving the look of these stair treads, as they appear a bit industrial for use in the house. I think they give a “garage” look because of the texture of the treads. We also found that they do not adhere perfectly to the stairs, as you can see some of them have a middle gap that keeps popping up due to being packed folded in half in the box.They work, but I do wish we would have gotten a better-looking, more upscale option.

Effective and comfortable on the feet
Very comfortable and the perfect size for the tread. They stick on well, no problems with the adhesive. It transforms the space, and I’m not afraid of slipping down the wooden stairs anymore! They aren’t high-class in terms of looks, but they work just fine for my space.
