Small but powerful
Iâm a big fan of Black & Decker tools.After years using a DeWalt cordless drill , I found this B&D drill. Light weight with a built in battery that charges with a power cord.For small jobs , like assembling furniture items, this is the drill to have.

Strong enough for small jobs
I live in a studio apartment and needed just enough power to put together furniture and small tasks. This is the perfect size, holds a long charge and easy to change out bits. I was looking for a small unit with a big name (Black & Decker). It has a lot of power. I have used it as a drill, and a driver and also other bits. Since I bought it, I still have not charged it more than once. Stores away easy in a small cabinet or possibly a drawer (I am limited storage space). This was perfect for me and no removable battery. I highly recommend again for smaller jobs – and for the price, you cannot beat it.

Lightweight and durable
I have more powerful drills, but these lighweight LDX172 series are perfect for quick jobs around the house. I have one that is eight years old, and with a replacement charger, works very well still. I bought this one as a backup for the old one, and to have a drill handy in the house as well as the garage. I haven’t encountered a household use that these LDXs didn’t handle with ease, without the weight and bulk of my more powerful drills.

Good Beginnerâs Drill
Iâm just slightly handy. This helped me build couple of things and mount what I need in my apartment. If youâre not going to be using power tools a lot or taking on large projects, this will do you just fine. I have gotten drill bits a little stuck before because whatever I was drilling had a stronger grip and will than the drill itself. The battery lasts forever it seems like but please be advised that the charging port is NOT a USB port but a typical drill charger. I had to order one off here.

Great first gun for your DIY-in-training kids. DON’T LOSE THE PLUG!
Nice lightweight gun for a great price. Has decent power, and battery life. Got one for my 10 year old son who’s taken a real interest in construction and building things, and he loved it. However he also lost the charging cable immediately. Its a one-of-a-kind plug, so there’s no replacing the cable alone. I liked it enough (and the price was decent enough) that i figured I’d just get him another one, so that he could at least use the same charger for both guns and have one for drilling and one for screw driving. Of course we found the lost cable a couple days after the second one arrived, but I just kept both because I really like the guns and having both was working out well for him. Would definitely recommend for a first driver, or for anyone who needs a lightweight, compact screw gun for minor house projects.Obviously wouldn’t recommend for large jobs or heavy-duty applications.

Nice handy tool for small jobs
I purchased the cordless drill for simple household jobs, and it has performed quite well. I am a senior woman, and like to be as self sufficient as possible, and this little tool covers several projects quickly and easily. It is light weight, easy to put in and remove the various heads, and perfect for my needs. I find it most useful for removing stubborn screws. It does take a while to charge, but now that I know that, I can plan ahead and have it fully charged for a project. However, most of the time, the charge is still good for a quick, unexpected fix. Good product!

Good Light duty Drill
Thjis drill is really one step above an electric screwdriver- It is for light duty applications, and probably not for use with thicker metal or heavy dense woods. It is good for screwing hardware into walls and small diameter holes in light materials0 What I” liked mostly is the fact the charger cord goes right into the gun itself and there is no heavy batter that then clicks into the hand grip. the lithium battery is claimed to charge in one hour from a depleted state. Operation is easy with a keyless chuck. the price is good at under $30.s

I love this Drill/Driver with one Major exception
I have an earlier version of this drill and use it all the time for many DIY projects. So much so that I ordered this one to keep from moving the first one from shop to home to where-ever and for the price it will be handy to have two. This drill/driver is powerful enough to handle most “fix & repair” jobs around our property. Light and the battery seems to last forever. HOWEVER, the earlier version is charged with a ubiquitous Micro-USB B cord and could hook it up to charge anywhere. However, with the new model B&D had to screw things up by putting a unique plug in order to charge it. Now Iam limited to a single charger which I now have to carry with me if I am working off site. I resent the Hell for being stuck with this dumb charger change.

It’s nice and small. Good for working in tight spaces.Also very lightweight, with an ergonomic grip.The initial charge (USB-only charging) took 8-hours until the charge light indicated a full charge (by turning off)Plenty of power. I was using it to fix my easy chair / mechanism / parts had come loose.FIVE STARS out of five!

Es un buen desarmador electrico que tiene la potencia suficiente para trabajos sencillos como repisas o muebles normales y la baterÃa tiene buena capacidad, desde que lo recibÃ hace unas dos semanas, lo carguÃ© el tiempo como piden las instrucciones y ha aguantado las pocas tareas que tengo en casa.Actualizacion: el producto me llego el 29 de diciembre 2020 y lo puse a cargar como lo indican las instrucciones, el uso que le doy es esporadico deacuerdo a las necesidades de las tareas de la casa y, apenas el dia 6 de junio de 2021 me acaba de pedir que lo ponga a cargar de nuevo, excelente duracion de bateria
