This professional-style Black + Decker 0.7 Cubic Foot 700 Watt Stainless Steel Microwave features 10 power levels, a removable glass turntable, and a spacious interior. It Works.
I like that the numbers are easy to read and it’s a very simple keyboard. There is a lock option, you can unlock before the cycle is finished. This is there so young people won’t just pull the door open .

I read several of my go-=to review sites and this one came up as one of the best on each and every one. As I said, it’s at a reasonable price, too. I’m not a frequent microwave user. I use it to heat my leftover coffee, to bake sweet potatoes, and to heat milk for lattes. But I had surgery upcoming so needed something so my caregivers could reheat meals I had stocked in the freezer. This one met the criteria and that was that.The one thing I don’t really like is the noise that EVERY microwave delivers when you open and shut the door. It’s part of the design so the no harmful waves escape and I get that. But at 5:00 am and to hear that slamming door ugh it simply irritates me. There was a “QUIET” microwave cited on many of the review sites and it was a bit more money. AS I said, I only really needed it to reheat meals so I didn’t;t care. But now I wish I had spent the extra whatever dollars to have one that just wasn’t as loud. I’m sure it’s still noisy for none of these can be silent, but oh well. That’s my burden. You can choose your only.:) Anyway–it’s perfectly fine, adjustable power levels, I think I made popcorn in it once. All things it’s supposed to do and it does them really well. It’s easy to keep clean and the profile is a bit shorter than most so it fits nicely under my overhang shelves. It has super storage area on top very even with no contours or decorative design distractions, so it has given me as much counter space back as it took away and that’s a big plus in a small kitchen where I think this model was truly intended to shine.

I really don’t like to use microwaves, just in general. However, my kids really like to use warming pillows and those are best warmed up in a microwave. So I bought this, just for occasional warming pillow usage. It is small and fits on the shelf space I have available, which is great. It looks nice. It works well. I’m happy with it. My kids are happy with it. I recommend this.

Love this microwave
Before I bought this, we were using a microwave my mom gave us five years ago. It was old even thenâshe’d bought it at a garage saleâbut it worked, so we never upgraded. When that thing finally kicked the bucket a month ago, we were forced to buy a new one. We picked this one because of it’s price and size (it needed to fit on our microwave stand).This thing is awesome! My dinner plates actually fit inside it and it takes much less time to heat things than my old microwave. It’s easier to clean, too, and I like all of its extra features. My family is wondering why we didn’t upgrade sooner. All that time wasted, watching the seconds tick down! Oh well. We have it now.If I had to gripe, the door button doesn’t feel very sturdy. I feel like it’s going to be the first thing to break. We’ve had it a few months now, though, and it hasn’t given out yet.

VERY nice microwave
I had to replace my Tappan microwave I’ve had since January of 1993. That’s not a typo. I’ve had it almost 32 years. Original lightbulb too. Broke my heart when it stopped working normally. Obviously they don’t make those anymore. Soooo…After tons of research, I chose this Black & Decker. I knew it had a push bar to open the door versus a pull handle like my Tappan. I wanted a handle. Still getting used to the change. Has nothing to do with the functionality; just me learning the change.Only issue is it can slide around a bit when pushing the bar to open the door or press the buttons or shut the door. I solved that with a $1 non-slip pad from the dollar store I put underneath it. Issue solved!Easy to plug in and use. It looks very elegant and modern, yet it also blends in with my fairly eclectic decor. It’s quiet and beeps 5 times when done. The power levels seem extremely accurate. Fits all my larger dinner plates and TV dinners.Bottom line: after all my research, I’m confident I chose the right one for my needs. Keep in mind, I’m single with my kitty cat. So it’s just me using it as an adult.

I wasnât looking for something special, just a microwave to heat up my food. I wonât use it to cook so I donât know if those features are ok, but at least for what I wanted itâs working perfectly. The size is also ok, I wanted a small microwave, so that works for me.

One good feature about this unit is the programming process for heating a product. You press either a number that translates in minutes and starts right away and/or you press the “start” button to add or set for 30 seconds. It takes one or two steps to start cooking. Over time it saves a lot of time. The rotating table is well set and does not slip out of center.A simple and beautiful appliance worth the purchase.
