These look great
These BLUERISE carpet stair treads are quite attractive and look better than the pictures online. I needed a replacement for the ones on my stairs, so I decided to try these. I appreciate that these are longer than the old treads, although they are not quite as deep. Nonetheless, they still looked fine when installed.My previous stair treads were tacked down, so I thought it would be a simple installation with these, given that the treads have a plastic peel-off on the back that adheres to the steps. This was my only real issue, apart from trying to keep them aligned on the stairs. If the plastic peel off was slightly thicker, it would come off easier in one piece. Despite my slow, careful efforts, it kept tearing, which was a bit frustrating, but I managed to deal with it. I made sure to thoroughly vacuum, clean and dry the steps before installing the treads so I would get good adhesion.They seemed to stick well to the steps, but the corners are slightly lifting. I may end up tacking these down like the old ones if it becomes an issue that they stick up too much or someone trips on them. This is not a major problem because they look nice and go well with the color of my walls, as well as brighten up my dark staircase. They come in a set of 15 treads, which is good because a lot of them only come in smaller sets, and you have to purchase two sets. I only needed 12, so I’ll have 3 extras if any get ruined or stained.They are stated in the description on the website to be machine washable. No instructions about that came with them, and there are no tags on the treads with any washing instructions, so I’m not sure at what temperature I would use if they ever needed washing, cold maybe? The other concern if you do find the need to wash them is, will they still be sticky on the backside after washing.The carpet on the treads is not thick like plush carpet; it is smoother and seems to be sturdy. I prefer this since a thicker carpet might cause tripping.One suggestion would be to make sure you take them out of the shipping box and lay them flat in a stack with something heavy on them the day before installation or as soon as you get them. This will help remove any bends from shipping. I did not do this but wished I had. Also, when I put them down on my stairs, I made sure to press down in the center and work my way out. I didn’t do this at first and it left a small hump in the center, so I had to reposition a couple of them. I was afraid lifting it again and trying to reposition it I would lose some of the adhesion, but they are still sticking fine.Overall, these are very pretty and easily installed once you fight to peel the plastic covering off the adhesive on the back. Just make sure to clean and vacuum your steps first so they stick good. I’m glad I took the chance and got them.

Nice color/pattern
Love the design, fits with my colors already and gives my stairs a little something so I don’t hear the dog’s nails when he goes up and down.

Backing of product hard to remove
Taking the clear plastic backing is awful! The backing tears and is difficult to to remove took along time!!

I really like these stair step covers. They are so easy to install and look so very nice. We had already cleaned the stairway we intended to use these stair step covers for. As a precaution, the stairs were swept, dusted and then wiped with a clean soft cloth. We then carefully placed the stair covers on each step. We had twelve steps to cover and fifteen step covers to work with. We really like the way the now carpeted stairway look and feels under our feet. We are very happy with this quality, easy to install, well made, stairway covers. The pattern is well defined, colorful and adds to the look and feel of the old stairway, bringing a more up to date and homey feeling to them. If you are thinking of updating, changing, a set of stairs or a stairway in your home consider this easy to install set of carpet treads, or carpet covers. You will be very pleased with the difference they will make. I recommend them highly.

Beautiful Addition
These are beautiful! The color is also a great way of hiding dirt. They clean up really well when they do need to be cleaned but that is infrequent. A quick vacuum is almost all they need, but you can put them in the washing machine if absolutely necessary. They are absolute winners but one thing to know is the backing on these that reveals the sticky side is not always the easiest to get off. Take your time in peeling the back off and for the most part it does come off, but in some cases the plastic will rip so you have to peel off more to get it off. So have some patience and you will get the plastic off. In terms of the adhesive, it is strong and does not leave residue. It also resticks later on which is great. I have various sets and I like to change them out to have a different look. Overall these are a winner!
