Scant Instructions Provided
I seem to only write reviews when a product is far less than I expected, such was the case with this fan (BOJUE Ceiling Fan with Lights 52″ Indoor Outdoor Ceiling Fan 3 Wooden Blades w/ Remote Control). My main complaint is the scant installation instructions provided with the fan. The lack of detail was astounding. I had to pull up the Amazon listing photo just to help me figure out how to put it together. There are no videos, no websites to help, no phone numbers to call, just a pamphlet that skips a lot of steps in the installation process. There were some inaccurate photos and wording in the instructions and all you have other than the pamphlet is an email address for help.I like to think that I have some mechanical aptitude, and this installation took me nearly three hours. A typical homeowner would really struggle getting this thing installed and working.Another issue is that the product description mentions that the LED light has three settings (warm, natural, and cold white). The light has only one setting…and that’s on or off.Once it is up, it seems to be working well (so far). I’m keeping the box for a few days to make sure it continues to work with no problems.

The installation is pretty easy when you already have some skills with fan installation, however the instructions included don’t fully make sense. The ‘silver’ shaft is not completely covered by the collar provided (product #7. Pin Cover) and the silver shaft being exposed is unsightly. You can not adjust the silver shaft to the downrod or adjust it donward to the DC motor. Such a pity as the fan is really nice.
