The fact that it looks cute, when you match your furniture with a hint of gold. Only thing I wasnt too happy about waa that the switch to chnage the settings is on the floor. If you are going to have this connected to the wall switch, you have to turn on and off the walll switch until you get to the setting you want. I just keep it at the first setting, since its defaulted to every time you turn on the wall switch.

The lamp is easy to put together with a good level of brightness. To turn it on and off the switch is where you step on it. It’s a pro and con for me. Overall great for money with elegant gold.

Very nice lamp. Easy set up, sturdy and stable. Initially I wasn’t sure about the lampshade as you need to wrap it onto itself and secure it with velcro (already attached) but the frame provided was very effective at shaping the shade. It’s a nice size not too tall. I like the warm light setting the best. I’m pleased with how solid the base is, how firmly the tubes screw together and the minimal footprint. Very unobtrusive lamp. Important to me there is no wobble between the stem and base. Altogether a more expensive feel than the actual cost.To change the light settings you need to quickly double click the foot button (I don’t think it says that in the instructions).

It looks good as far as aesthetic purposes, but it’s nothing more than a colored glow lamp. Two stars is being nice because it looks good physically, but it doesn’t light up anything.
