Twenty Year Old Problem Solved
For 20 years I tried in vain to have âniceâ rugs in front of the kitchen and bathroom sinks and the inside doorways. Now, after trying many rugs, Iâm permanently cured of that for several reasons:First, I didnât have these rugs. I couldnât predict how well the ânice rugsâ would stick to the floor without tape. These rugs move nowhere. They stick solid. The End.Second, we tracked so much soot into the house in the aftermath of the SoCal fires that turned the light colored âniceâ rugs black. Especially in front of the kitchen and bathroom sinks. These rugs are already a dark color. Itâs not as obvious if theyâre dirty.Third, these are washable. When they get dirty, I will hose them off or take them to the laundromat.Fourth, it got expensive swapping out ruined âniceâ rugs. These are affordable.So, as it turns out, THESE are the âniceâ rugs I always needed. They are thick, comfortable to stand on and a good color. They donât move or crumple up when you stand on them. Theyâre great in front of kitchen and bathroom sinks and entryways. AND â- theyâre affordable.Bon chance.

I would not recommend washing this in the machine as I did. The corners started to separate. I would suggest pressure washing outside and dry.

Needed something to catch crumbs, etc. in the kitchen between floor cleanings and so far, this is doing the job. We have very very light colored vinyl hardwood floors throughout so I wanted something that would blend in and feel a little textural, and this rug is beautiful, doesn’t look/feel fake, and grips well to the floor (no sliding, and doesn’t flip easily at the corners). Haven’t washed it yet, but will update if I run into any issues on that front.

We bought this rug for our entrance and we live in a snowy region. So far, I really like the fact that itâs absorbent.I ironed it when I first got it with a low heat iron to remove the fold marks. Itâs lying beautifully at our entrance and doesnât interfere with the front door opening and closing.Iâd highly recommend this carpet.
