This is what a microwave should be
Once you have this microwave, you’ll think you’ve reached microwave nirvana. From the easy to use multiple functions to the polite and adjustable ending finish tone, this is indeed what a Microwave should be. You’ll have to get used to the soft close door since you’ll be accustomed to slamming a micro door. It very quiet and easy to clean. Note these few annoying items: the clock does not and will not stay lighted making it hard to read across the room , and the door works great but seems too fragile to last. I’ll review that after a year of use. Still, this is the best microwave I’ve ever had!

Absolutely worthless.
We just received the microwave today and it will not heat anything up.Overpriced piece of metal.Obviously NO quality checks were done.

Breville is reliable and does a fantastic job
I had a breville toaster oven that was a workhorse for over 10 years so when it went out, I replaced it with another Breville. Then when my el cheapo microwave went out, I invested in a Breville Microwave. Very pleased with how it works and it has some aspects I’ve never encountered in a microwave before. The fan keeps running after the end of the cycle to cool down the system. It auto turns off after about 20-30 seconds. I highly recomend this brand and their products.

Works, but not as even as I had hoped… nor as smart…
I like the smooth close door. It is still a bit hard to open, but on a firm counter it isn’t too bad. It seems to not slide too easily, unlike my old microwave.It fails the auto popcorn test. And it’s not the most even cooking microwave. But I like the dial and being able to adjust the power on the fly. There doesn’t seem to be a way to do a pre-programmed cook using varying levels of power. But with cooking 1 to 2 minutes, it’s not too bad to stand there and keep an eye on it and dial up or down the power to prevent burning or splashing or uneven over heating.Not bad, but I don’t get the hype.
