Love it
Very easy to set up and install. Love the fingerprint feature as it makes unlocking the door with full hands easy! Love that it has a key feature still, just in case. All around great product. Hasnât given us any issues and weâve been using it for around 2 months. Would recommend.

Lock didnât work, but excellent customer service
The locked was easy to install and locked nice. However, I could not get the lock or the replacement lock to work. The customer service representative was nice, knowledgeable, and helpful, but her suggestions could not overcome either the mechanical or software flaws. I ended up returning the product and re-i stalling the original manual lockâ¦that works.

Works great. Took a couple tries to find the sweet spot for recognizing a fingerprint, but that was relatively painless.

Brinks didn’t disappoint! And get the fingerprint reader!
Brinks is a great brand and it shows in this product. It works very well with the keypad, fingerprint, or even the 2 keys included, although I have never carried them since installing this. It’s such a great value compared to other costly options and no need for a subscription.I’m so happy I decided on the fingerprint reader option! It’s so easy to use and great when your hands are full. Love that you can program multiple combinations and fingerprints. It’s easy to add or remove the codes and fingerprints or reset the system to start over again.I was worried about self-installing but found the instructions very easy to follow. I had a question on programming and was able to reach a live, friendly person late on a Sunday through the Brinks 800 number listed in the instructions.Now we don’t have to carry keys when we travel! It’s the luxury item I didn’t realize I needed.

Ease of install.
Very sturdy for the front door to my office at my business. Saves time. It’s a little tricky on programming but it works. Very happy.

I put in the proper code yet it will not unlock. I need it to unlock on the first time.

Sleek and Reliable
We installed this deadbolt on our side garage door after the previous one, which was a different brand was having battery and wifi connectivity issues. I really like that this one does not require an app to add new codes and that it has the option to use your fingerprint or key to unlock it. The directions for installation were clear and there were no issues. The directions for programming it are a bit overwhelming at first glance, but once you start following the steps it isn’t difficult at all. I love the matte black finish we chose, although we now need to get a matching handle. The keypad lights up as well, which is great for accessing it at night and the buttons are large and easy to read, which we also liked.

Secure Locks
I simply love our new Brinks security locks! We recently painted all doors and changed the hardware from the dated gold hardware of the 90âs to black matte hardware throughout the house. Our locks to the entry doors were dated also and needed updating too. After reading numerous reviews, Brinks offered me the security I wanted for our home. We have the option of setting a fingerprint or use the keypad to secure or unlock our doors. A red light at the top of the lock indicates the door is locked, and the green light indicates the door is unlocked. Installation was fairly easy. The only drawback was the plate where the deadbolt is secured was too small, so my husband had to purchase larger plates for the deadbolt lock to enter to secure the door. I wish I had purchased these locks long ago. They are high quality locks for a great price.
