Perfect Design Look
The Black Arc Floor Lamp is a lovely addition to my living room. It fits perfectly snug in the corner arching over a large accent chair. Staged/placed correctly with room furniture, the lamp has an expensive look about it. The lamp was easily assembled (with the help of my son-in-law) and the on/off foot switch is a welcome and quite handy feature. The only downside to the lamp is the illumination limitation of a 9W bulb. But, other than that, for the price point it’s a very nice lamp.

Itâs TALL!
Even though I knew the dimensions when I ordered it, I was surprised at how tall the lamp felt in the room (13âx13.6â 8â ceiling?). Itâs weighted enough but a little fragile, donât move it too often. Itâs a nice matte finish (be careful not to scratch it) and the shade has a gold interior.For the price itâs a great lamp. Iâm using it over a desk right now. Originally for over the sofa but too tall. Good value, simple design and easy to assemble.

Solid lamp in every respect – style, adjustable light, heavy base, and remote
This is a solid lamp. It’s completely adjustable in terms of the color and brightness of the lamp. It has a minimalist design. The ability to adjust the light is incredible. Comes with a remote. The remote is solid and straight-forward. It requires two AAA (triple A) batteries. The lamp is better than expected. I paid $50 and couldn’t be happier. I knew this was a solid lamp out of the box based on the weight of the base. It’s heavy. My only issue, if it’s an issue, is assembly. You must be rested and patient when assembling the lamp. Otherwise, you might drop the metal lampshade and incur a dent, drop the base, lose the small wrench that comes with the unit, etc. There aren’t many parts. The wrench is for one point at the top of the lamp. That’s it. Three plastic clips protect some of the threaded metal joints during shipment. I included a photo of the clips, which also shows the wrench that comes with the unit. They do fall to the floor when you are assembling the lamp. During assembly, I wondered what these plastic clips were for. Again, they appear to protect metal threading. You don’t need them to assemble the lamp. The clips appear to be for shipment only. The unit comes well-packed. If the box gets dented during shipment, I can see how the lampshade will incur a dent. My unit came out of the box in perfect condition. No scratches whatsoever. Each piece was wrapped in plastic. It was relatively easy to assemble. There are basic instructions. There is styrofoam that holds the lamp in place in the box. Can’t stand styrofoam, yet it does secure the lamp during shipment.

Great looking light
I am very pleased with the quality for the cost of this light. It really improves the overall look of my room and is highly functional. I appreciated the option for the brown or bronze color in the light that goes better with my brown leather couches and other decorating. This light would sell for much more from a mainstream lighting company and I don’t think there’s much difference at all. The remote is great to have and works well.

Excellent reading lamp for beside a recliner.
Just got this today. Well made. Well packaged. Simple to assemble. The base is nice and heavy though the lamp does lean a bit when sitting on carpet. This is because the lamp itself is offset about 2 feet to the side of the base. Really should be used on a hard floor. This extension allows the lamp to be used in a perfect position for reading (directly overhead with no shadowing) without interfering with the function of your favorite recliner. Be aware you need to have a cord placement that allows access to the foot switch which is about 26 inches from the center of the base.Haven’t tried the remote features yet. My one gripe is that the 2 AAA batteries need are not included. I’ll need to make another a trip to the store.Update: Remote works fine. Sadly this becomes yet another device which will need to be plugged into a surge suppressor or I can expect to lose it during the next thunderstorm. Plugging lamps into surge suppressors is not something we normally consider.

Did not even make it past the 1st time of use. Will buy another bulb see if that was the issue but I am afraid it might be faulty.
