First, I want to say they pack these very well. Our Ped-X delivery driver was less careful than he should have been and the box arrived damaged on the outside. However, because of the cardboard corners, foam, and double thick packing box, the product was unharmed. Second, they take a bit to put together but the instructions are good and all the parts are labeled well. Finally, we ordered three of these and made a large wall unit for our teen daughter’s room. She absolutely loves them and they are beautiful! Pictures show damaged box with unharmed shelving and finished result.

3.5 stars. The packaging arrived damaged, but the items inside were well packaged in Styrofoam. I bought two. They were fairly easy to put together by myself, the instructions were understandable. The only bad side was that one of the trim pieces was broken in half. I used these for a built-in look, so I didn’t need it, but it was disappointing to spend so much and receive damaged items. The overall quality is good, heavier than most pressed partical board items and the finish looked nice. I suspect the broken piece occurred during delivery.

1. The screws are a nightmare to tighten. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like this product is fundamentally flawed.2. CARDBOARD BACKING. ABSOLUTELY INEXCUSABLE. I gave it a shot, thinking it might hold up, but the constant anxiety that it would collapse was unbearable. It came with unsightly crease marks from being folded in the box. This is a pathetic excuse for a product—don’t waste a single cent on this trash!3. The mental and physical torment this nightmare bestowed upon me is beyond belief- the absolute agony this monstrosity caused me was just absolutely, truly excruciating. If I could give it negative stars, I would. For your sanity and mine, PLEASE, DO NOT buy this! AVOID THIS NIGHTMARE AT ALL COSTS. It stole an entire day of my life—an utter waste of time.4. It looks and performs like the cheapest junk imaginable. It seems as if it was made from the cheapest materials possible and performs like absolute garbage. Find literally anything else—this shelf is an embarrassment.5. It’s incredibly unstable and wobbly. In fact, it’s so unstable and wobbly it feels like it’s about to collapse at any moment. While I was putting it together, I genuinely had a few fight or flight moments where I thought I was about to get squished.6. My disdain for this shelf is boundless. I can’t even begin to express how much I loathe this product. I am genuinely consumed with rage just thinking about it. As of right now, me and the shelf are truly mortal enemies and I will never think the same of furniture ever again. My mind has been transformed and my soul stolen from me.
