Calphalon set… Well worth the money
Best set I’ve ever owned.Heavy duty pots & pans. They heat up quickly, holdbheat very well and are easy to clean. Just follow manufacturer care instructions and buy some stainless cleaner (can buy on Amazon).Every kitchen needs good non-stick pans, cast iron pans along with quality stainless steel pots & pans.My only regret is that I waited so long to order these.Would make a great gift for any house warming, wedding or graduation etc…I’m now purchasing individual pieces of Calphalon.

I absolutely love this cookware! Have went through a bunch of T-Fal non stick as well as other non stick pans this is bar none the most incredible cookware I have ever used.Could not wait to give them a try the day I got it and I am so stoked! I cooked beans, sauteed with garlic, butter and olive oil… no sticking, was actually more slippery than non stick pans. Seared pork chops, no sticking, reduced a wine sauce, came out perfect, angel hair cooked just fine in the stockpot. The big test was clean up, everything cleaned up and they look good as new, no residues from the wine and tomato sauce.I am so overjoyed with my choice! My only regret was waiting so long to buy this cookware! Yes it is expensive but the value and quality make it a steal at $599! Follow the instructions on use and cleanup and you will love it too!***Edit: Fried eggs in it and no sticking. Crab cakes were perfect as well as shrimp and béarnaise sauce.Six months later and this cookware continues to deliver, the more complex the meal the more they deliver! I would not trade this cookware for anything! I admit to having a few issues early on but with practice and perseverance this remains the absolute best set I have ever used!

Love these pans. Follow the instructions carefully on how to cook with them. They are as good or better then the non stick pans. I have had non stick calphalon pans for over 20 years. Loved them but wanted a better pan for cooking. These are it. The negative reviews I took into account BUT i found them untrue AS LONG as you follow the instructions and DO NOT cook with them on high heat and preheat them before putting food in them. I know they are suppose to be dishwasher safe , but after 50 years of cooking if you want things esp. pots to last hand wash them away from the harsh detergents in the dishwasher. Enjoy.

Heavy and durable
This is a great quality set for those that canât afford high end pots but want to have a quality set that will last. Recently quitting Teflon products and canât go wrong with this. The handles are held by 3 sturdy rivets with zero jiggle. There were some minor scuffs in the surface from shipping but a brass bristle brush takes them out with zero damage to the steel since brass is a softer metal. Great peace of mind now knowing no harmful âforever chemicalsâ like PTFE will be leaching in my food and these can be scrubbed without damaging them.

My old Calphalon anodized 8 qt stock pot didn’t work on my induction burner. To replace it was $150. I found this stainless top of the line set for not much more. Three layers of aluminum encased by stainless. All Clad has a copper layer but is 4 times the price.The pans are a beautiful brushed stainless. There were a few cosmetic defects along the rim of several pans that I had not seen before with Calphalon. I filed a few burrs and rough edges.I seasoned the two fry pans as instructed on the internet. It took a few tries to get right. My first attempt was too hot and discolored the pans. I scrubbed that off and was successful with less heat. This left a very nice soft burnish to the inside of the pans. With a small amount of butter or oil even a fried egg does not stick. Not quite as non stick as my Swiss Diamond coated pan where I don’t even need oil, but I like these much better for browning foods.Heating is quick and even, especially on the induction burner. Bottoms are perfectly flat – important on a glass cook top. Handles stay cool unless you have them in the oven.These are oven safe at any temperature. If your cook ware has a temp limit it is NOT really oven safe.Glass covers are a plus. They fit just as they should, snug but not too tight.I am very happy with this set, especially for the price. Calphalon customer service was helpful and prompt is addressing my concern about the rim irregularity.

Multi ply stainless exterior cookware is some of the best cookware out there. The multi ply makes for good heat distribution. Construction is heavy and durable, including the handle and lids. I prefer these glass lids myself over steel lids so I can monitor without removing lid.One very minor thing I would prefer is if the saucepans were wider instead of narrow and tall like they are, to take advantage of more surface on the bottom exposed to the burner and easier access to stirring and whisking.

Update: las manchas desaparecen y regresan, van y vienen!!! Pero la calidad y manejabilidad de este paquete es excepcional, no se arrepentirán de cómprarlas son una increÃble inversión y no se equivocan al decir que duran para siempreâ¦Yo compré una pastita para desmanchar acero inoxidable y solo la he usado en la pequeña que es para huevito⦠las demás parecen reiteradamente nuevas y va viene la estética pero su funcionalidad jamás es menguante ni aminorada.Es normal que se hayan manchado de diferentes colores? La pequeña para los huevos se tornó amarilla y si la se usar pues nunca se me ha pegado un huevito, la olla grande al hacer un caldo de pollo generó manchas muy extrañas, la olla pequeña se manchó totalmente de la parte de abajo al primer uso… todas estas manchas no puedo quitar ni con vinagre ni bicarbonato, frio o caliente no se remueven. Me siento un poco frustrada porque no las he usado casi y ya estan asÃ, cada que uso una diferente se queda manchada porfavor diganme si es normal para ya no sentirme ð¥ triste..Porque si las amo, estaban hermosas y son muy pesadas..ð

Bought the 10 pieces pots and pans set while it was on sale. I am very impressed by the quality. Since I am using induction stove, this stainless steel set have no issue with it. The set is slightly heavy to handle with ease. But that is due to the thickness of the stainless steel used. The aluminum core help to spread heat quick and induction stove can bring water to boil in minutes. As with stainless steel cooking, food will stick and pan will discolor after your first cooking. However, these are expected and can quickly resolve with a google search.

I thought these were a bit expensive, but that was based on my experience buying regular bonded bottom pots and pans. These are excellent quality 5 ply and half the price of All Clad or Viking. The sizes included in the set are all decent usable sizes. If you season the fry pans properly you wont have any problems with sticking or cleaning up. The only negative is that they are not really stackable so take up a lot of cupboard space, but with a little rearranging I have everything put away nicely. I highly recommend if you are knowledgeable of propper use/care and want a quality set with professional results.
