These are high quality knives that work exactly as they need to. The only thing I can add is watch your fingers. I had been using dull knives for so long I forgot how to use a sharp knife. Within the first week after purchasing I sliced a piece of skin off my fingers while chopping vegetables. Ouch LoL.

As someone who has been using a random assortment of kitchen knives to do a wide range of cooking, I was long overdue, and this didn’t disappoint. It’s sturdy, beautiful, self sharpening, and heavy. Couldn’t really ask for more.

The specialty knives (chef, paring, santoku, and bread) are amazing! The are study and high quality. The scissors are sharp and work like they should. We think the dark wood block is attractive and looks high end. The downfall is that although the steak knives are sharp and sturdy, the metal rust. I assume the company tried to save a few buck by not using stainless steel and instead used some stainless coating or another alloy. If you decide to buy these knives, make sure to hand wash and dry immediately.
