Mattress Thickness Suggestion
I am excited ab my Mid Century Classic Twin Daybed with Trundle (100% Solid Wood) ordered today. The quality being solid wood appears great in advertisement; however the description doesnât recommend twin mattress thickness to use. I will update rating once received and put together. What size mattress for upper daybed and what thickness for below trundle bed is suggested? I want to be ready to setup once received.UPDATE: 5 star daybed and trundle. Delivery on time and vendor packaging very good. Entire product is real wood. Instructions easy to follow putting together. Several wood slats for mattresses with a spacer was provided to evenly disperse, before securing slats down with screws. Stain finish and mid-century curved sides are beautiful! My only complaint was poor customer service response to question awaiting shipment to expedite mattress sizes needed for setup. Vendor never replied. I ordered 8â mattress for top bed and 6â for trundle bed. However a 8â would fit perfect for lower trundle as well. (See pics) I highly recommend this bed.

Perfect match for antique chifferobe
Bought this for a guest room to match the existing furniture. Assembled easily and is very sturdy. We did add a bunkie board for better support over the upper slats. Using the trundle for storage rather than an extra bed. Would buy again. Beautiful and an excellent price for the quality.

Very attractive modern bed. Lower tier will only accommodate a 6 â mattress. Which is fine for my granddaughter. She only weighs 25 poundsð. I think it will be a good mattress going forward as well. Has good ratings.

It comes in a single box, too heavy to take anywhere
Be careful if you order this. It comes in a single package that needs 2 or more people to move around. Plus, the box is damaged. I am considering returning this without even opening it.I would not have ordered this if I knew it came on a single box.
