The step runners are GREAT!
After slipping down steps way too many times I wish I would have purchased these YEARS AGO. THIS TIME I REALLY INJURED MYSELF! Looks nice, durable, was very easy to place on stairs. My older dog is also pleased. After severely injuring my knee and breaking 2 toes after fall…glad I have this great product.

Great for my purposes
So I got these for a different purpose than intended. I have a partially paralyzed cat who uses a ramp to pull himself onto the couch by gripping with his front paws. After a couple years, the fabric on the original ramp was worn through in places and I used these to replace it. The fabric seems very sturdy and like it will hold up well to cat claws. I was able to cut it to size fairly easily with my sharp fabric scissors. The only thing is that the adhesive on the back of these is really not very sticky at all – I’m not sure it would work to hold them in place even on a stair tread as intended. However, I had planned to staple them in place as even the best adhesive would struggle with my intended use, so that wasn’t a problem for me. I used 1/2″ T50 staples and an electric staple gun to attach several pieces to the wood of my ramp.Tldr: I didn’t use these as stair treads, but the fabric seems very sturdy, it’s reasonably soft and pretty tightly woven, and the color is an unobtrusive silvery gray.

Happy to have these!
Never had stair treads like these and was apprehensive whether they would fit, look nice, offer padding and stay put. I bet you’re wonder all the same things. 🙂 My stairs are larger than normal so these do not fit a large as I would prefer but they still look great and address all the needs I have. They do look nice. They feel nice. They cushion the step and they absolutely stay put with family running up and down the stair all day every day. Depending on the number of steps you have this pack might give you a couple extras to use if you needed to replace one or some where else in the house. Great option for a reasonable cost.

Pretty nice AND stays in place
Decent looking well stitched and believe it or not they actually stay put even on my semiglossy hardwood steps with 2 crazy boxer doggos zooming up and down on them several times a day. I don’t know how they would hold up in a wash. And they didn’t get 5 starts because they could be a little thicker. But they totally do the job and I’m in no way disappointed. I’ve tried other types of step carpet and runners none of them stayed in place like this one hasn’t budged in a few months.

Great Texture and Bonus of Non-Slip
The treads arrived in a clean white box (no plastic covering). I inspected each one – no poor craftmanship or loose threads. The material is a good quality and a nice feel. The claim of durability is believable, based on first impression. My current treads made a similar claim however the edging began to fray pretty quickly. I provided a couple of close up photos of the edges and corners so that you can see the binding looks solid. I’ll update my review if there are any issues after installation and use. I love the simplicity of the installation (no glue!!!). Washable is also awesome. One of the reasons that I selected these treads is the width. A lot of the brands are 28″. My interest was having treads that go nearly the full length of the stair. This one does the job. I recommend measuring to ensure they will fit the dimensions of your stairs. There are a myriad of stair treads out there – this one is a great value (priced $20 – $50 less than comparable brands) and it has a quality which makes the treads a good investment.

Great Stair Treads
These stair treads were extrmely easy install. They have good ahesion and looks rather lovely.They are easy to clean and vacuum. They help keep my staircase clean.I recommend this product to anyone in search of some good quality stair treads !

Hides the worn carpet on the treads
I got these for my folks’ stairs. Thier carpet is in fine condition in the rest of the house, but threadbare on the stair treads, and they are a little too frail to drag a vacuum up and down the stairs to clean them.They love these!They are good looking, easy to place, and I’m not worried about them being a tripping hazard.The best part is that my folks can just pop them in the washer! They don’t have to drag out the vacuum, and risk falling on the steps.

So Far, So Good!
We recently replaced our well-worn carpeted stairs with LVT flooring, and while my stairs now look great, the new flooring has definitely been hard on my feet! Hence, my search for the perfect carpeted stair treads.I’ve been reluctant to apply stair treads with an adhesive backing, as I worry about residue or permanent damage to my LVT stairs if/when the treads are removed. So I’ve been using non-adhesive ones, which look nice, but they slide around too much for my liking. Then I stumbled upon this product.Based on the product description of these non-slip carpeted stair treads, I decided to take a leap of faith and give them a try. Initially, I tried it on one stair only (just to be on the safe side), and I was very pleased to discover that the tread was indeed non-slip as indicated, and yet, the adhesive is just tacky enough for it to stay in place without being permanently glued down. In fact, I was able to lift it up and reposition it very easily several times. Happy with the results, I’ve since added the rest of these treads to my remaining stairs.The color I purchased blends in perfectly with our decor, and these carpeted treads feel very nice underfoot–not at all scratchy as I worried they might be. The only reason that I’m giving these stair treads a 4-star rating instead of 5, is because I don’t know how well they will hold up long term, especially after cleaning. Still, I’m optimistic that they will stand the test of time. But for now…so far, so good!
