This is a Ceiling Fan With Much to Offer and Lots of Versatility r
Up until recently, I have been trying to update fixtures around my home. I had been saving my nickels, dimes, quarters and dollars so I could hire an electrician to come and have things installed, I thought that I was going to have quite a wait ahead of me, but thankfully that recently changed.My son-in-law and grandson decided to put their heads together and they installed a fixture in another room forr me. My grandson had worked briefly with an electrician over the summer. Unfortunately, the electrician he worked for didnât have enough work to keep him busy most of the time and he wasnât able to learn as much as he would have liked.He told me that he felt comfortable with installing a light, but he was not confident in his ability to install a ceiling fan and light combination by himself. My son-in-law felt that he could do it, although he had never done there before, but I could tell that the idea I had him a little nervous You could just see that he wasnât comfortable doing these installations by himself .. PersonallyI was overjoyed when the two of them decided to put their heads together and give it a try.Because it went well, they were much more comfortable installing this fixture My pocketbook thanks them.What, I appreciate most about this ceiling fan is how very versatile it is. If you choose this fan, youâre going to get a lot of options. For me, the fact that this fan could be flush minted. and the height was able to be anywhere from 10 to 18 inches.I donât have the highest of ceilings in my home and chose to have them install it at the minimum height of 10 inches. This was as much necessity as anything else. Not only are my ceilings not very high, but every member of my household is tall. My son is 6â7. He doesnât live with me, but heâs here on a regular basis. I have two teenage grandsons who live with me. One is 6â3, and the other is 6â4. Any further than 10â and they would have to duck. As it is my 6â7 son will likely to have too anyway.In the description at the top of the page, you will see where it is described as being very quiet and having a sound similar to the wind. It is a very apt description. Personally I felt relaxed as the slight sound ii made was very soothing. It is just noticeable enough that I am happy to say I relaxing as it lulled me to sleep last night.As it has only been one night, I canât say for sure whether that will continue or not, but I think it will. I certainly hope so.Another feature is the motor is reversible. In the summer, you can direct it so that your rooms are cooler and in the winter you can change it so that they are warmer. That was a factor. I was grateful for last night. It has been so cold Iâve had to run two space heaters in order to get warm enough to fall asleep. Thanks to the ability to reverse the direction of the airflow. We recently got 9.6 inches of snow where I live and itâs been a good bit colder than it normally is. The fact that I was able to get by with just one heater last night thanks to reversing the motor was something that impressed me.Being able to change the direction of the air flow is as beneficial in the winter as it is in the summer.Furthermore, it is described as being 80% more energy saving. I really hope that this is the case. My husband passed away in March, and since that time Iâve had to become much more frugal. Previous experience has shown me that most items that Iâve updated to go at least a little way Towards saving me money thanks to so many things being more energy efficient than they were the 20 or more years since Iâve updated anything.My previous fixture had three speeds and one light setting where as this baby has six speeds and three light settings. I really like that the light is adjustable because most of the lighting in my house has been on the warmer side. It was a preference of my husband and a bit of a frustration for me because I like it to be brighter the majority of the time. However, in the evening, I like the warmer light and I also find sometimes when itâs on the cool setting, it puts a glare on my TV that the warm does not..As if all this is not enough The blades are reversible. You have the option between choosing light walnut or dark walnut. Iâm the kind of person that would probably try switching back-and-forth periodically. I quite enjoy switching things up. So much though that once someone told me that every time she seen me, I looked like a different person. I have always enjoyed change. To me that sleek and simple design is exactly what Iâve been looking for. Iâve said in many of my reviews that my home leads more towards a farmhouse, however, eclectic style, but Iâve been trying to incorporate some modern contemporary touches and this ceiling fan plays well into that.It doesnât take anything away from what I already have, but it certainly adds to it. Itâs amazing how one change can cause you to look at things in an entirely different way. One way this feechose to go with the dark walnut. It ties in better with the other colors in my home and I believe it also adds a bit more of an odd towards modern and contemporary decor and it suits me quite well. iâve been working on composing this review for a good while. Itâs getting late so Iâm going to stop, but if I have repeated myself or explain anything in a manner that doesnât make sense, I apologize. I think itâs OK but when I get tired, itâs a case of who knows.

Quiet fan, bright light & awesome remote!
This review is for the Ceiling Fans with Lights, 48 inch Ceiling Fan with Light and Remote Control, Black Ceiling Fans, 3CCT, Reversible, Noiseless, Modern Ceiling Fan for Bedroom Living Room, Indoor/Outdoor Use.We recently moved into an older home that had very old ceiling fans without lights on them. This was really annoying – especially in the living room and bedroom. Purchased this fan because of the size, light kit and remote feature. This is actually the first time we have had a ceiling fan with a remote.This appears to be a quality fan with a quality light kit. It was super easy for my husband to install into the previous junction box (navigating the attic was the difficult part). The fan is super quiet – and not having the chains to change the fan speed or turn the lights on/off means no clanging during the night (we have noticed no shimmying of the fan itself). The remote is basic and super easy to use to adjust the fan speed and warmth of the light. We also appreciate the “reverse” direction option to change during the summer/winter months. We are very pleased with this purchase and recommend it to anyone who is thinking about purchasing it.

Replaces existing fan & adds versatile REMOTE & LED light
Great replacement fan for an old bedroom fan. Style is minimalist/ clean. Simple way to add a light and versatile remote too. See photos for blade color choices(dark vs light) assembly was about 45 minutes. Design of electronics for LED light and remote use convenient plastic plugs during assembly, leaving simple three wire electrical connection (red, black & green ground) for installation. Hopefully the led light board lasts as it is not a standard âbulbâ you could pick up at the hardware store if it goes.

Not as large as I thought and measurement isn’t what I am used to
This ceiling fan is a bit deceiving. While it looks great in the photos, the 48-inch measurement is the total diameter, not the blade length. It ended up being much smaller than I anticipated, which was disappointing. If you’re looking for a larger statement piece, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. However, it seems well-made and stylish if you need a fan for a smaller space.

Fabulous, Sharp Looking Fan
The AKOFUN Ceiling Fan with Lights and Remote Control is perfect to bring breeze and airflow to my patio on a breezeless day. I recently bought a home in the mountains. I am amazed at how often there is no breeze to speak of where I thought the opposite would be true. It becomes extremely uncomfortable on my patio. This fan will solve that problem.The instruction manual is very detailed and clearly written with a parts list. That is important to me because I will be installing the fan myself and it astounds me how often light fixtures are sold without adequate instructions, if you get them at all. The detailed, clear instructions make this an easy assembly. All the parts listed were provided. I am happy to see there is one extra screw as it almost always happens where I drop at least one.The fan has two color choices with the blades, a light wood tone and a dark wood tone. I love that there is a choice for me to use light wood tones which I prefer. I have a sloped roof on my porch. The fact the fan expands to a long length works perfect for me so the blades will clear the roof.I am very happy with the AKOFUN Ceiling Fan with Lights and Remote and I can’t wait until Spring arrives as I will be able to spend so much more time on my patio with the breeze and airflow this fan will bring.
